Serpent S411 option parts

Serpent have release a number of new option parts for the S411 touring car starting with these spring steel double joint cardan shafts with double cvd joint. To be used with a front spool, they reduce vibration, increase steering, and offer smoother operation due to less binding. Also new is a CVD shaft combo with spring-steel axle and hard anodised 7075-T6 aluminium shaft. Lighter than the full spring-steel version but more prone to bend or break in the event of a crash. There is a new belt tensioner with bearings, shims and hardware to be mounted to the top of the top deck. A LiPo battery holder in carbon helps keep the LiPo battery in place even during heavy crashes and it is used in combination with the original nylon parts to guide the glass tape through. Finally there is new lightweight machined aluminium steering shafts with hard anodizing, to replace the standard steel ones giving a weight saving of 70%.

Novak’s new Ballistic 540 Vented end bells & bearing racing upgrade kit includes everything needed for this performance update. Both the rear and front end bells have machined cooling vents which allows excess heat to escape, resulting in cooler temperatures and higher motor performance. Additionally, the front end bell has a precisely installed ball bearing. This upgrade kit is compatible with all Novak Ballistic 540 Brushless motors.

Pro-Line have released these aluminium 12mm Front and rear clamping hex adapters for the B4.1. If you just converted your B4.1 to 12mm hexes, then Pro-Line’s clamping hexes are a must have for all serious racers. These hexes clamp on to the axle and will not fall off when you change tires like the plastic hexes. Made from high quality, aircraft grade aluminium so you know that they will last and stand up to the power of your B4.1. Pro-Line have also released their popular Blockade tire in pre mount form. Available in M2 (medium) and M3 (soft), they come pre glued to V2 white wheels.

JQ parts, clutch bells, sway bars & options

JQ Products have released a number of new parts, sway bars, clutch bells and options for THE Car. Firstly there is all new stronger plastics which include new wishbones front and rear, C-hubs and ball joints. JQ have also released a new line of clutch bells in 13T, 14T, 15T & 16T versions to allow you to fine tune your clutch to all conditions. Next up is a new smooth gearing set that was tested in various race conditions by their team drivers, which makes the car more consistent and easier to drive. Other new parts include a pair of lightweight servo saver posts and a range of sway bars in 2,6mm front and 2.6mm, 2.7mm, 2.9mm & 3.0mm rear versions.

Capricorn have released this new rear upper arm linkage for the Lab CO1 and C02. The same configuration as the version on the 1/8th scale Lab C801 these two piece arms feature an integrated set screw making for a very easy to adjust camber linkage.

New for the Lab C801, Capricorn have released these new 2-speed spur gears made from a carbon/kevlar compound. The new construction makes for a smoother transmission as well as making them more durable. Also new are a pair of blue front springs to add to the current range of tuning springs.

Atomic Carbon have announced new Durango DEX410 V3 buggy shock towers. Non V3 owners can now upgrade and have the ability to fine tune the top shock positions and use the new camber link holes. The front is the same as the kit tower, while the rear has an extra row of camber link holes and has had the unnecessary holes removed on the rear tower to strengthen it. Made from genuine 4mm full fat Carbon Fibre and available in standard black or red.

Designed with several key aspects in focus, JConcepts introduces the Silent Speed line of spur gears for select Team Associated vehicles. Spur gears or straight-cut gears are some of the simplest forms of gears, however they directly influence the ratio, speed and sound of R/C vehicles and they are extremely important. These gears when meshed together correctly provide the transfer of power from the motor to the transmission and are one of the key elements in the versatility and sound of the vehicle. Silent Speed spur gears are precision machined making them uniquely concentric over standard or molded gears giving the user a consistent gear mesh allowing a more precise adjustment and more “silence” on the race track. The detailed machining provides a pattern vented area and secured slipper pad on both sides giving more consistent slipper performance. The gears are marked for size in 2 different ways so they are identifiable either assembled within a slipper assembly or as a stand-alone part. These 48P gears are available in 75T, 78T, 81T, 84T and 87T.
