New from Kawada for their M300RSX V2 & M300FX, is this rear motor pod brace. Made from aluminium, the new brace connects using 4 points, as opposed to the 2 points on the previous version. This creates a much stiffer assembly and provides better alignment of the rear bearing blocks as well as improved cornering stability.

Xray have released new additions to their range of precision-molded 64-pitch offset spur gears. The addition of new 92T, 96T, and 100T gears allows you to further fine-tune your car’s performance. The spur gears have been made from special hard composite material, strategically lightened to reduce rotating mass without compromising strength or durability.

For the past 9 months, X-Power has quietly released a line of optional parts and accessories for the Kyosho dNano. Its latest offering, a ball differential featuring ceramic diff balls, is a drop-in upgrade for the stock gear differential. Following on from their previous release, the 416LP chassis, Smokem Racing has developed a LiPo specific chassis for the Xray T3. The 2.3mm thick chassis has been designed and thoroughly tested to give the best flex properties with unnecessary cell cutouts removed to deliver a design with balanced lateral flex. And with an overall width of only 94mm, scrubbing during hard cornering is minimized. The result is awesome corner speed and stability over a wide range of conditions. Two battery positions are provided so racers can choose where they want to position their LiPo’s, resulting in a symmetrical and balanced chassis with no additional weights required. With both longitudinal and lateral battery tape slots, this chassis accepts all LiPo’s, with or without humps, without additional retainers that may induce tweak.

MIP have released a number of new option parts for the HPI Racing Blitz. First up is this ball differential kit, which replaces the stock gear diff with no modifications necessary. Made with a hardened high strength alloy, it has excellent wear resistance. MIP have also introduced their high strength hardened C-CVDs with new snap rings for even more confidence and reliability. Finally, MIP have released a hex adaptor kit, which allow the user to run 1/8th scale wheels on the Blitz. Made from 7075-T6 aluminium, it has been anodised for protection against oxidation. Kit comes with bearing journal spacers for front & rear.

New from Spec-R for the Tamiya 416 is this gear differential. Made using a lightweight plastic housing, nylon gears and longlife diff joints, the full set weighs in at only 26 grams and can be reduced further, close to the weight of the original ball diff, if you use the optional aluminium drive cups. Offering amazing forward traction, this a very durable system, with little or no rebuilding necessary and which retains its setting throughout the race. Expect a version for the Xray T3 soon.
