Reedy LiPo charging sack

Reedy LiPo charging sack

Reedy have released their LiPo charging sack which reduces the risk of damage in the case of a LiPo battery fire during the charging process. Constructed using heat and fire-resistant material, the charging sack is conveniently sized at 20cm x 22cm (7 ⅞” x 8 ⅝”) to accept typical 2S-4S car packs. Due to its flexible fabric, the sack can be folded for easy transport and storage, plus, inserting and removing the battery is easy thanks to its hook and loop closure design.

Xray XII Front aluminum active brace

Xray XII Front aluminum active brace

New from Xray for their 1/12th scale pan car chassis, the XII, is this front aluminum active brace. Mounted between the front blocks, the brace prevents tweak as the result of a crash but it also can be used to setup the car. Assembled in 2 different versions, with rubber o-rings or with an aluminium roller, the former makes the brace softer and so increases front traction and steering, while the latter assembly stiffens the front and so decreases steering.

Xray Tweak-free Servo Mount plate

Xray Tweak-free Servo Mount plate

Xray release this tweak-free servo mount plate for their XII that eliminates chassis tweak caused by improper servo mounting. The mount plate is centrally mounted along the chassis centre line while the servo is mounted independently on aluminum stands on the graphite servo mount plate. This design ensures that the servo is mounted independently of the chassis and will not produce any unwanted chassis tweak. Available for mid size servos and separately for micro size servos.

Dirtz Dialed Partz X-6 Transmission brace

Dirtz Dialed Partz X-6 Transmission brace

Brian Kinwald and X Factory have released the latest Dirtz Dialed Part, a new carbon fibre and anodized aluminum brace for the X-6 Squared buggy and the X-60 truck. Kinwald said, “The new X Factory chassis’ are a big improvement over the original ones, but I want even less flex, so I designed this great new brace that goes from the top of the transmission to the battery bar. Less flex gives the car a more stable feel. In the X cars the motor plate braces against chassis flex, but it is on the left side of the car.  With my brace added, what little flex remains is consistent on both sides. The car is better under acceleration and more stable over bumps. It makes the best buggy I’ve ever driven even more totally dialed!”. Available tomorrow, the kit contains the carbon fibre brace, anodized aluminium bracket and all the necessary hardware.

Xray 120° Active Diff segments

Xray 120° Active Diff segments

Xray have released new Active Diff segments, which are CNC-machined from very tough steel and have very precisely-machined “V” ramp grooves with 120° angle for easy disengagement adjustment. The segment is hardened to ensure long life and durability and the segments are laser engraved for easy recognition. The 120° segments give more immediate response both on and off power. On-power the diff becomes very hard immediately (no delay), while off-power the diff becomes free immediately (no delay). Sold in a set of 2, they are ideally suited for use on slippery and/or flat tracks.
