Tamiya have announced the upcoming release of a new thicker chassis plate for their TRF416 touring car. Made from 2.5mm thick carbon fibre, it is super stiff and ideal for high grip condition such as carpet racing. The chassis also features Tamiya’s air duct system for cooling the motor. Available at the end of June.

New from Edit RC are these Ceramic Nitride differential balls to replace the standard versions in your diffs and get longer diff life and super smooth diffs. These extremely hard balls are available in 2 types, 3mm (12pcs) and 1/16″ (16pcs), and are suitable for use in the Hot Bodies Pro Spec ball diff which is an option for the Cyclone, and standard on the Cyclone TC.

Serpent have released these new 1mm thick spacers that are suitable for the optional OS2 front wheel axles on the Serpent 960’08, allowing easy adjustment of the front offset. Machined from aluminium, the spacers are tapered on the face that presses against the wheel bearing, ensuring that they don’t damage the bearing by rubbing against the outer part of the wheel axle bearing. Sold in a set of 4, they are used in combination with the standard 0.2mm thick wheel axle shims.

Xray have released this Alu chassis brace for T2’008, which has been CNC-machined from high-grade aluminium. It is recommended for carpet tracks with medium to super-high traction. Also suggested to use when the used tires have a lot of natural traction (for example soft compound tires) but also for tires which have type of insert which create a lot of air inside the tire. This will make the car easier to drive with smoother steering and the car will not “stop” in the corner.

More new items from Hot Bodies, this time for the Cyclone D4 4wd EP buggy, which gains 2 new anti-roll bars. Suitable for both the front and rear of the car, the new anti-roll bars extend tuning possibilities and are available in 0.8mm and 1.0mm thicknesses. Hot Bodies have released lots of new products for their European Championship winning Cyclone 12, starting with 3 new shells. These shells offer different tuning possibilities for the C12 and are available as an open cockpit shell, the Mark-I, as well as 2 closed cockpit versions called the Mark-II and III. Also available for further tuning your chassis are 2 new ranges of spring hardnesses, soft and hard, for both the front and rear of the car as well as new 4mm trailing offset front wheel axles, giving the car a different steering response compared to the 2mm trailing offset that comes with the kit. Finally for the C12, is a new shock shaft, front kingpins and wishbone pivot pins, that have been titanium nitrade coated for a smoother action that the standard steel parts.

Losi have released some lightened heavy duty outdrives for the centre and main axle differentials to help improve overall performance by reducing rotating weight. A direct replacement for both the front, rear and central differentials of all Losi 8ight and 8ight-T models these parts have been precision machined from premium high-carbon steel and feature additional machining to remove heavy steel material without sacrificing strength. Finally, these ultra strong and light-weight parts are heat treated to produce a hard, wear-resistant surface and finished-off with a Black, rust-resistant finish.
