Vita Tuning have released information about their new big block clutch, which is suitable for use in truggies. This clutch was successfully tested last weekend at the first round of the German truggy Nationals, and Dario Vita, racing a Mugen, won the event with this clutch which was also being used by the Reckward brothers and other top racers at that event. The release date is yet to be set.

3racing have introduced this quick change engine mount system for both the Kyosho V One RRR and XRay NT1 200mm chassis’. Available as two seperate designs, for each of the 2 cars, the mechanism and benefits are the same and that is, firstly, that it allows your engine to be removed easily and quickly from your car. The 2nd and main benefit is when you go to put your engine back, you dont need to worry about gear mesh and alignment issues due to the systems 2 piece design combined with the use of aligning pins mean that you only ever have to align your motor in your car once.

UK based carbon fibre specialists Atomic Carbon have announced the release of these new Kyosho Ultima RB5 shock towers. Made from 4mm carbon fibre these front and rear shock towers have been developed in conjunction with Team oOple team driver Stu Wood.
Stu using the atomic carbon shock towers managed to qualify 7th out of 130 drivers, at the recent BRCA national held at Bury Metro and this is the 1st time in 15 years that a Kyosho 2wd car has made a BRCA national A final.

Atomic RC, the custom parts makers, have starting making option parts for the latest car to enter the 200mm market, the Xray NT1. While little information about these parts is available, the first to be released is a machined alumium lower back plate, which is a direct replacement to the standard composite part, but is stronger in the event of a rear collision. The 2nd new part are these new upper engine mounts, but i cant find any difference between them and the original Xray part with perhaps the exception of the materials used.

Associated have announced the release of these new diff and shock fluids under their Factory Team brand. The diff fluid is for use in gear differentials, such as those found in their soon the be released RC8 buggy, with this silicone based fluid being made available in all popular grades from 1000 to 10000cst. Also released today is 2 new additions to their range of silicone shock fluid, 45WT (575cst) and 55WT (725cst). Both products are sold in 2oz. bottles and both are available in July.

Italian tire manufacturer ATS have announced the release of a number of new products for both off road and general use. First up are these very unique foam truggy tires, created in 56mm width and in 130mm tire diameter, they will be available in both hard and medium compounds and should allow your truggy to tear up the tarmac. Next up is the announcement that ATS will enter the buggy tire market and they are currently testing rims and compounds and will launch with 3 compounds called Sticky, Adherence and 1600, expect to see them available soon. ATS have also released a range of clutch bell housings for off road and rally game that come in both closed and open finish and in a number of different teeth amounts. Finally comes the release of cleaning putty, similar to that sold by Serpent, that comes in a handy little tub and helps remove oil and other crap from your car.

We brought you information about shock bodies from Japanese firm, Riemon Speed Works before, and today they have announced more metal optionals, including more shock bodies. In the picture above you can see on the left, new metal shock bodies for the Kyosho Lazer ZX-5, the left shock body being a prototype made from brass and the aluminum version on the right the final sale version. In the middle of the image are the prototype and final shock bodies for the Tamiya M-chassis while the final product on the right are hex adaptors for 1/10th touring cars, which have been made from brass to apparentley help transfer the power from the tires to the ground in low grip conditions. Robitronic have released a new front ball differential for their Avid electric touring car as well as making the announcement that they will give current owners of the car a replacement set of hardened driveshafts, which i suppose replaces the original versions that were perhaps breaking or twisting. These hardened shafts will be included in all upcoming releases of the kit and to receive your free replacement, simply ask your Robitronic dealer.
