Zero Tribe introduce new T4 Mid & BD9 Mid chassis parts

Coming soon from Zero Tribe are new carbon fibre main chassis and upper decks for their Xray T4 Mid and Yokomo BD9 Mid mid motor conversions. Both the HT chassis and upper decks are of an updated design that provides increased straight line stability, making the cars easier to drive. The chassis are of a refinded shape for optimised flex and they feature machined sections around the middle bulkhead area, allowing to retain the upper M2 bulkhead screws for increased pitch stiffness while the cut-outs ensure optimised torsional flex for improved traction. As for the updated HT upper decks, these will become available in 2.2mm, 2.0mm and 1.65mm variants to fine-tune overall chassis flex.

Xpress introduce new grey colour ball ends

Xpress have introduced their new grey colour 4.8mm ball ends that are moulded from a new material. The updated composite material makes for smoother suspension action while preventing play to build up over time, keeping the suspension more precise for longer. The ball ends are of a flat design which allows to run taller camber link positions without having to fear wheel rubbing and they are available in 15mm, 13mm and 10mm variants.

RC Maker GeoCarbon V2 A800 MMX series steering arms

Coming from RC Maker and made for the Awesomatix A800 MMX and MMXA are new GeoCarbon V2 front and rear steering arms. Starting with the front arms, the V2 variants provide more flex than the standard AM14LS arms, providing more traction on asphalt, ETS carpet and CRC Black carpet. They are 3mm thick, and are designed with only the outer AM14LS hole for the new SB1 single bellcrank steering on the latest evolution of Awesomatix MMX/MMXA chassis. As for the rear arms, these provide more flex than the standard AM23-1 arms, again providing more traction on asphalt, ETS carpet and CRC Black carpet. They arms from as separate sets for the front and rear and they required the owner to either use long screws with AT21ST-A, or ST24M/ST24L with a nut for installation, as the holes have no thread.

Torpine R11F 2mm carbon fibre upper deck

Coming from Torpine is a new carbon fibre upper deck for the ARC R11F FWD kit. Of a symmetrical design the top deck is softer than the kit upper deck with comparable front and rear geometry. The result is a more equal torsional chassis flex that makes for a more precise and easier to drive car. The top deck is machined from high-quality 2mm carbon fibre and it is available from now on.

Tamiya TRF420 long shock towers

Tamiya have introduced new carbon fibre front and rear shock towers for the TRF420 touring car that allow to use longer shock absorbers. Originally designed for the low-profile TRF-SSBB shocks, the new shock towers allow to run longer dampers such as the #42102 TRF shocks which is a welcomed tuning aid for bumpy parking lot tracks where shocks with longer stroke can improve the handling of the car. The towers are machined from high-quality carbon fibre and they come as a 2-piece set including the front and rear shock stay.

Avid T4’20 2.5mm ULP lower shock towers

Avid have announced the release of their new ULP lower shock towers for the Xray T4 2020 touring car. The towers are made from 2.5mm thick 100 percent premium hard carbon fibre and they allow to run the kit shocks in the lower arm position for those high bite tracks where getting tippy is a problem. Also, due to using thinner 2.5mm hard carbon fibre the shock stays maintain their stiffness but lose some weight since the point is to lower the CG with the shocks. The shock towers are available separately or as set.

RC Maker A800 series front centre weight

RC Maker have introduced their latest brass option part for the Awesomatix A800 mid motor range in the form of a front centre weight. With the ultimate place to add weight to basically any car being the centre of the chassis, this weight locates in the dead centre in-front of the motor mount, extending to under the steering rack. Designed to be used with all the Awesomatix A800 mid motor variations, including the MMX, MMXA and MMCX, it is the perfect way of adding 10g in the centre and nice and low on the chassis. The weight also includes a 0.5mm carbon shim for spacing the weight off the chassis to minimise any flex impedance.
