XactRC YZ-2 DTM3/CAL3 ball-raced steering link

XactRC have announced the release of their new steering link system for the Yokomo YZ-2 DTM3/CAL3 vehicles. Developed, tested, and made in the USA the redesigned link will feature four flanged 3x7x3 ball bearings to minimise slop the steering rack assembly. This will help in low and high speed areas for both dirt and carpet racing. The aluminium link will also provide more consistency, overall performance, and less maintenance. Easy to install, using same washer setup and ball studs as the plastic link given with the YZ-2 kit. This product is the first of many racers oriented performance parts that XactRC will come out with.

PSM TB Evo7 DTC aluminium main chassis plate

PSM from Germany have introduced their new DTC aluminium main chassis plate for the Tamiya TB Evo7 touring car. Machined from high-quality 7075-T6 aluminium and coming black anodised for wear and looks, the chassis’s DTC Delta Traction Characteristics provide soft torsional flex characteristics along with consistent performance. The softer flex allows the car to generate more mechanical grip, which is very helpful especially in low grip conditions and/or very tight tracks while at the same time, a special manufacturing process keeps the longitudinal and lateral tweak of the chassis at a very minimum for the most predictable handling.

Tekno RC 1/10th Delrin shock pistons

Tekno RC have announced the release of three new CNC Delrin piston sets to fine-tune the performance of their 1/10th scale vehicles. The pistons improve the consistency and handling of the EB410.2 and ET410 vehicles as the pistons are machined from self-lubricating Delrin plastic, flat on both sides and drilled with eight 1.1, 1.2 or 1.3 millimetre holes. Intended to replace the moulded kit pistons, they are a direct fit for the shocks on all EB410 and ET410 vehicles and do not require any additional hardware.

Xray XB4’20 large volume diff 41T steel bevel gear

Coming from Xray and made for their XB4 2020 1/10th scale 4WD buggy is a 41T steel bevel gear. Designed for the use with the kit’s large volume differential, the precision-cut gear is best used when smaller front tyres are run, as the 41T bevel gear will result in an overdrive characteristic that will help to compensate for the larger rear tyres. The split design of the gear differential features a separate lightweight crown gear and a separate diff cover. The split design results in significantly lower weight and allows for easier maintenance and setup. The crown gear is CNC-machined from spring steel and ultra-hardened, making it super strong, reliable and very durable.
