Exotek FGX Shimizu tyre adapter rings

Coming from Exotek are their new Shimizu tyre adapter rings for the 3Racing FGX foam tyre wheel sets. The all CNC-machined delrin adaptor rings allow mounting of Shimizu F104 and Tamiya TCS F104 tyres onto the FGX foam wheels. The must have for carpet and cool weather racing allows the use of softer high grip compounds on the FGX. The rings are simply glued into place on the wheels and thereafter allows perfectly true mounting of the Shimizu F104 tyres onto the wheels. The adaptor set includes four rings, usable on the front of the rear rims with two sets being needed to outfit a complete set of wheels.

MTS T3 mid-motor conversion kit

Coming soon from MTS is a mid-motor conversion kit for their T3 electric touring car. The set includes a new lower chassis plate, multi-piece motor and layshaft mount, a C-shaped centre bar to adjust chassis stiffness and included is also a reversible upper deck that allows to fine-tune the stiffness of the front or rear end of the car by flipping it around, swapping between a split and solid setting. In addition the torsional flex of the top deck is adjustable using included carbon fibre plates that help to reinforce the top plate. The set is rounded out by a new spur gear mount, front and and rear belts as well as carbon fibre battery locators.

Ramp roll out new B6.1 & B74 carbon fibre optionals

Ramp have announced the release of new carbon fibre option parts for the Team Associated B6.1/T6.1 and B74 off-road kits. First up is an O-ring battery retention system that ensures quick and easy battery swaps of both standard and LCG shorty batteries while the design also allows for effortless battery position tuning and more natural chassis flex. The set includes two carbon fibre battery braces, mounting hardware and two high-quality rubber O-rings. The set is usable on both the B6.1 buggy and T6.1 truck.

Shepherd Velox V8.2 carbon chassis aero kit

Shepherd have announced the release of their new carbon aero kit for the chassis of their popular Velox V8.2 1/8th nitro on-road kit. The set was developed to reduce turbulences under the car, with the slicker surface making for higher top speeds. Two inserts are included in the set, a small one which is fixed with one centre screw and a longer one for the front chassis cut-out which is fixed using two screws that also allow to fine-tune the flex characteristic of the front end. The German-made carbon design set is available from now on.

Yeah Racing DF03 spring steel CV driveshafts

Yeah Racing have introduced their new spring steel CV-style driveshafts for the Tamiya DF03 chassis. Offering improved durability while being not overly heavy the driveshafts are an ideal upgrade when running hotter motors in the DF03-based cars such as the Top Force, Wild Dagger, Twin Detonator, or Double Blaze. The set includes two pre-assembled driveshafts.

JConcepts introduce new B74 carbon fibre optionals

Coming from JConcepts are several new carbon fibre optional parts for the Team Associated B74 4WD buggy. First up is the hanging servo mount plate, an updated part to the original design as mounting and securing the servo on the B74 is critical, because the hanging servo mount plate requires durability and reliability in all aspects. The 2.5mm thickness, genuine carbon fibre material is durable, lightweight and features the JConcepts milled sections which help maintain strength while minimising weight. The mounting pattern remains standard for quick attachment in the correct position.

SRP iCharger 308/406 Duo V2 charger stand

Schaffner Racing Products have introduced their new V2 charger stand for the popular iCharger 308 and 406 Duo chargers. The all new design sits 25mm lower than its predecessor, and is easier to assemble due to its unique dual tab/slot design. It also straddles any power supply up to 87mm wide, which helps to maximise the functionality of any pit space and holds the charger at the perfect angle for viewing from the seated position. The stand is 3-D-printed, weighs in at about 56g and it is available in all black as well as black/red, black/pink, black/orange, black/green and black/blue variants.

R246 MR-03 RML aluminium motor mount

Coming from Kyosho’s R246 brand is the RML aluminium motor mount for the MR-03 Mini-Z chassis. The motor mount lays the motor flat for an overall lower centre of gravity and thus higher corner speed especially in higher grip conditions. The motor mount is machined from high-quality aluminium, it comes blue anodised and with a machine carbon fibre upper brace. Also included is the needed mounting hardware.
