WRC NTX 60 brass chassis weight

WRC Racing from Italy have announced the release of a new 60g brass chassis balance weight for their NTX 1/10th 200mm nitro touring car. Designed for the use on high-grip tracks the weight not only ups the car’s overall weight, it also increases the chassis torsional stiffness which comes in handy when running in high-bite racing conditions.

Yeah Racing M-08 alloy chassis braces

Yeah Racing have released a new option part for the Tamiya M-08 M-chassis kit in the form of two aluminium chassis braces. Machined from high-quality 7075 alloy and coming black anodised the braces stiffen the front end up for increased initial steering and more consistency throughout the run compared to the stock plastic part. The braces are a drop in upgrade.

Rebellion-RC BD8 MM mid motor conversion kit

RC-Carbonstore have announced the release of their next Rebellion-RC MM mid motor conversion kit, this time for the proven Yokomo BD8 touring car. The conversion makes use of the same features as the recently released Xray T4 and Team Associated TC7.2 MM kit, meaning they utilise a patent pending sliding motor mount design that allows gear mesh adjustment through the chassis bottom, with the narrow design of the whole assembly ensuring the overall motor and battery width remains the same as in the “rear motor” standard car, creating a very centralised weight distribution and less unwanted chassis roll compared to current mid motor conversions. Other features include wide gear range settings, making the kit usable for stock and modified racing alike, it incorporates two chassis stiffness adjustment areas that allow to brace the upper and lower deck in front of the rear bulkhead, and in front of the centre shaft – allowing to access complex chassis flex settings. The BD8 conversion also comes with a modified Team Associated TC7.2 floating servo mount to allow for enough space for the mid motor layout and it is only usable with 40T spools and diffs, but not the older 34T pulley drivetrain setup. The carbon fibre parts are available in a range of twelve different weave colour options and the kit, that is completely made in Austria, also comes with high-quality Bando Kevlar belts as well as all needed screws and bearings.

Yeah Racing adjustable aluminium body mounts

Yeah Racing have announced the release of their adjustable aluminium touring car body mounts in blue and orange colour. Of a single piece design the body mounts are very easy to adjust by simply selecting one of the six available heights and fixing the mount using a small and lightweight cap head screw. The platforms are usable with all 6mm body posts and they come in sets of four.

Coming from new Asian brand OUP are aluminium upper suspension mounts for the Cross-RC Demon crawler series. Machined from high-quality aluminium and coming with an anodised surface finish for wear and looks, the upper suspension mounts offer 14 different upper shock mounting positions, allowing to use different suspension length settings and ensuring optimised shock angles for 290mm to 315mm wheelbase settings. The upper suspension mounts fit the SG4, SR4, SP4, SU4, FR4 and KR4 series of crawlers.

Mugen MBX8T dogbone centre driveshafts

Mugen have introduced dogbone centre driveshafts for the MBX8T and MBX8T Eco 1/8th scale truggies. The 88mm front and 161.5mm rear driveshafts are used in combination with the E2260 centre joint cups and they replace the respective universal driveshafts. When used in the front, the dogbone-style driveshaft will improve the steering response while using the dogbone in the rear will increase rear end traction. The parts were used by Mugen’s Ryan Maifield to win this year’s ROAR National Championship and they are available separately.

Exotek EFX2 HD front bulkhead

Coming from Exotek is a 1-piece heavy duty aluminium front bulkhead for the Exotek EFX2 chassis conversion kit. The new design greatly increases the durability of the front of the car by removing the brittle plastic arm mounts and at 12g actually weighs less than the stock components. A simplified single-piece bulkhead design makes for tweak free geometry after race contact and with easier maintenance and assembly when in the pits. The all 7075 aluminium construction comes with a black polished finish and silver chamfered edges for a clean factory racing look.

Monaco RC 40mm mid motor Air Conveyor

Coming from Monaco RC and made for the latest generation of mid motor electric touring cars is the 40mm Air Conveyor. The electronic layouts of mid motor cars, that swap the position of the motor and speed controller compared to standard “rear motor” touring cars, call for differently designed cooling fan ducts with Monaco RC’s mid motor air conveyor offering cut outs for the fan’s power wires, resulting in cleaner wiring, better looks and improved functionality. The air conveyor is made of 3-D-printed high-quality material and it is usable with standard 40mm fan units.
