Merlin McFly Pitbull X alloy diff case

Rapid manufacturing company Merlin McFly has announced the release of an aluminium differential case for the Amewi Pitbull X buggy. A direct replacement for the original moulded composite part the alloy diff case, machined from highest-quality aerospace 7075-T6 aluminium, greatly improves durability and reliability. Included with the diff case comes a high-quality ball bearing. Alloy diff cases for other kits are available on request.

PR Racing V3FM-R Evo & SB401-R lightweight bodies

PR Racing have introduced new lightweight body shells for the V3FM-R Evo 2WD and SB401-R 4WD buggies. Moulded from high-quality 0.5mm Lexan polycarbonate material the shells are substantially lighter than their standard counter parts for an overall lower centre of gravity and thus less body roll and swifter cornering in high grip track conditions. The bodies come clear, including window masks and decal sheets.

BMT 016GT Evo rear end conversion kit

Italian brand BMT have introduced their new Evo rear end conversion kit for the 016GT 1/8th GT car. The set does away with the standard pivot ball upper arm in favour of a system similar to 1/8th on-road kits, using a separate turnbuckle. The new geometry will make for increased dynamic caster values and thus smoother cornering mid corner, improved steering and less front tyre wear. The assembly is also lighter which optimises the car’s weight balance. The set includes the updated rear hubs, upper links as well as bulkhead covers and adjustable carbon fibre upper link mounts.

Tamiya adjustable aluminium servo horn

Tamiya have introduced their new adjustable aluminium servo horn. The set includes an adjustable servo arm whose length can be set from 15mm up to 23mm in 1mm increments with the whole assembly also offering a servo saver functions which comes in handy to protect all non-metal gear servos from excessive stress. The set includes the necessary mounting hardware as well as a standard plastic servo saver assembly.

Samix SCX10 II 305mm wheelbase high clearance link sets

Samix have announced the release of high clearance titanium link sets for the Axial SCX10 II trail truck. Designed for 305mm wheelbase settings the sets include links made of high-quality titanium material. They offer improved ground clearance thanks to their angled design and etched link location markings ensure easy identification. Available is a full 10-piece set, that also includes the steering turnbuckles, as well as an 8-piece kit of just the suspension links or a 4-piece set of just the rear links.

PR Racing Type R Ti-Ni-coated shock shafts

PR Racing have announced the release of new Ti-Ni-coated shock shafts for their Type R kits. Coming as 42mm long front and 49mm long rear variants, the Titanium-Nitride-coated shafts will offer less wear in heavy duty off-road applications while ensuring smooth shock action. The shafts are available in 2-piece sets including piston mounting hardware.

Darkside Designs B6.1 +4mm carbon front shock tower

Darkside Designs have announced the release of their new +4mm “Rayls” carbon fibre front shock tower for the Team Associated B6.1 buggy. Designed for large, rough outdoor tracks the tower will also improve landing after huge jumps thanks to utilising kit 21mm front shock shafts and optional 27.5mm shock bodies. The tower is cut from high-quality carbon fibre and it also features optional in-between upper shock mount locations.

Merlin McFly carbon fibre touring car winglets

Coming from Merlin McFly are two sets of carbon fibre winglets for 190mm and 200mm touring car rear wings. Machined with special vacuum clamping technology from 0.5mm thin premium U.S. carbon fibre the winglets add stiffness and a neat finish. They are machined to match EFRA and IFMAR size regulations. However, prior to using the plates, please check with your track’s or series’ regulations as some rules deny the use of carbon fibre body optionals.
