T-Works have introduced these new diff cross pins for the Mugen MBX8 and the Kyosho MP9. Made from hard coated 7075-T6 Aluminium, the pins help reduce rotational mass, and come in a set of 6 to replace the pins in all 3 gear diffs.

The set provides three options to adjust Ackerman angles for different handling characteristics. Tekno RC have reintroduced their Trakton Drive. This system gives your electric vehicle a ‘nitro feel’ and improves consistency by reducing the instant acceleration of modern electric systems. Employing a special clutch shoe and spring design to engage the shoes in the clutch bell, it’s engaged at zero RPM and has no lag but still provides some ‘give’ on hard acceleration or impacts. It’s extremely helpful on loose or rough tracks as it will smooth the power delivery as the vehicle traverses through bumps. If you’re a nitro and electric racer, this system will make transitioning between the two vehicles easier as your electric vehicle will feel more like a nitro.

In order to optimise performance for all track conditions, Infinity has released a new bumper spacer set for their IF18 1:8 onroad chassis. The set is inserted under the front bumper to adjust body height where needed, in particular when running on bumpy race tracks. MIP’s popular Puck 17.5 drive system is now also available for Yokomo YZ2 DTM2.0 buggy. Its been a long process to get everything just right with the S3 and S4 arms and the amount of tuning options in the Yokomo YZ2. The lightweight, aluminium-based system is a replacement for the standard steel items and includes a 2-piece aluminium outdrive cup and aluminium outdrive hub assembly, two pairs of Bi-metal bones (for S3 & S4), and the replaceable plastic orange wear Pucks™ that take the place of the inferior steel pins. This combination greatly increases the longevity of the drivetrain and most importantly decreases the drivetrain’s overall rotating mass by about 50 percent. The decrease in weight directly results in quicker acceleration, deceleration, and lower motor temps, making it ideal for 17.5T stock racing classes.

Made for Pro-Line’s Pro-MT monster truck is a new pivot ball set from MIP. They were designed to replace the standard items with sturdier and more durable ones, doing away with breaking issues associated with the original PL parts. MIP increased the diameter where the shoulder and threading meet for increased strength as well as manufactured these pivot balls using high impact alloy steel. The suspension balls are direct replacements and they come in sets of two.

SMJ have introduced new 2-speed transmission and clutch springs for 1/10th nitro on-road cars. The 2-speed springs come in soft specification while the clutch spring is a super soft variant – ideal for sport class engines such as the lightly tuned O.S. Max 12TG. The springs are available separately and they fit most of today’s 1/10th scale 200mm nitro on-road kits.
Carisma Scale Adventure have introduced their new brass weight wheel hex set for the SCA-1E trail truck. The set includes four brass wheel hex adapters that can be used on the front and rear or just at the front axle for an optimised weight bias and performance tuning.
