Coming from BMT and made for the 701 kit are the +1 steering block inserts. Machined from aluminium and coming with a natural finish the insets allow to adjust the king pin angle which can be a useful tuning option in certain track conditions. Depending on the orientation the king pin angle can be increased or decreased by simply flipping the inserts.
Kyosho have introduced a chassis upgrade set for the TF7 electric touring car. The set includes a new fully symmetrical 2.25mm carbon fibre lower chassis whose specially selected material makes for increased traction while the new motor mount places the motor 2.5mm inwards for optimised left-right weight balance. The mount also allows to use different motor mount patterns and the set also includes a new centre layshaft mount, an alloy battery stop as well as a 2.0mm carbon fibre upper deck and mounting hardware.

Coming from Avid and made for the Team Associated RC8B3 and Mugen MBX7 buggies are the FastTune camber shims. The parts are made from aluminium and designed to allow to easily adjust the camber on popular pillow ball designs without having to fully unthread them. The tab feature helps to keep them in place as the pillow ball is tighten down. The shims are available separately as 6-piece 0.5mm or 1mm set and also as 8-piece combo set, containing four each.
Japanese company Team Bomber have released a first image of what is understood to be their forthcoming aluminium main chassis and lower pod plate for the Yokomo YRX12 1/12th scale pan car. The plate differs in many ways from Yokomo’s original part with the Team Bomber chassis offering additional milled sections under the front arm mounts, the steering, electronics and battery area in order to fine-tune the flex characteristics. Coming from Schumacher and made for the Atom and Atom CC kit is a 120g brass mid weight. Ideal for use with the Atom/CC but also useful for racers using the alloy chassis with lightweight equipment. The part weighs in at 120g and helps to achieve the weight requirements for GT12 racing while also providing more grip and making for an easier to drive car. The front/rear weight distribution is optimised with this part fitted, very centrally, reducing the polar moment of the car and therefore improving handling. Adjustment screws to make each different battery fit perfectly are included.

Coming from Schumacher and made for the Eclipse 1/12th pan car are a new aluminium main chassis and lightweight alloy wheel screws. Starting with the chassis, the main plate offers improved driveability in all conditions of carpet 1/12th scale racing and much improved eight minute runs as a result of the improved consistency. This often leads to faster individual lap times as it inspires confidence. Due to the aggressive styling, a weight of 79g means it is only 11g heavier than the standard carbon chassis, whilst offering aluminiumÂ’s alternative flex characteristics.
Coming from LRP is the all-new USB Bridge V3 that allows to change firmware versions on the FlowX speed controller. The device comes including an USB cable, 200mm sensor wire as well as a manual and along with the V3 version of the USB Bridge, LRP also have the updated v2.2 firmware tool available for download to support the FlowX series speed controller. In addition to the FlowX the USB interface also supports the original Flow speedo as well as the iX8 and Spin controllers.

3DRC have expanded their popular range of Fan Booster motor cooling fan mounts by three all-new variants for the Xray X1 and Team Associated F6 formula pan cars. Purpose designed and 3-D-printed from very tough material the fan mounts are available in two standard variants, for 30mm or 40mm units, and also as 30mm variant with incorporated diffusor for improved looks and aerodynamics. The fan mounts attach between the motor bulkheads and rear carbon fibre wing mount plate, they are usable for Formula and also LMP-converted cars and they are available through 3DRC’s Shapeways store or select model shops.
