VBC Racing introduce new Wildfire D09 option parts

VBC Racing have introduced new option parts for the Wildfire D09 1/10th electric touring car. First up is the vertical upper deck set for the Wildfire D09 touring car. Designed for the use on lower grip asphalt and carpet tracks the set provides higher chassis flex and a more linear steering feeling. Included in the kit are the new carbon fibre top brace as well as aluminium mounting hardware.

JConcepts B64 Fin titanium turnbuckle set

Coming from JConcepts and made for the Team Associated B64 1/10th 4WD buggy is the Fin titanium turnbuckle set. Offering the name-giving “finned” hex section the turnbuckles are usable with the standard AE ballcups and they not only save weight but also add visual impact. The set includes seven turnbuckles with a suitable wrench being available separately.

Serpent SRX8 19 degree aluminium C-hubs

Serpent have introduced a set of 19 degree castor hubs for the SRX8 1/8th off-road buggy. Machined from 7075-T6 material and coming black anodised and with laser-etched markings the hubs add to the already available 13, 15 and 17 degree hubs with the 19 degree parts improving bump track and lower traction condition handling. The hubs are available as pairs from now on.

Bezerk RC B64 carbon fibre option parts

Bezerk RC have introduced a range of carbon fibre option parts for Team Associated’s all-new B64 1/10th 4WD off-road buggy. First up is a carbon battery strap made from 2.5mm material and pocketed to reduce weight, making it lighter than the plastic one it replaces. Also new are remodelled shock towers in two thicknesses, featuring the standard geometry. Next up are Ackermann plates in varying angles from standard to three degrees while Bezerk RC’s servo brace has been simplified to clean up the appearance by removing the mostly unneeded aerial holder.

Schelle Racing Innovations B64 Titanium upper screw set

Schelle Racing Innovations have introduced a Titanium upper screw set for the Team Associated B64 buggy. Made from Grade 5 material for about 40 percent less weight and higher corrosion resistance than steel, the set includes 67 M3 fasteners that strategically remove steel screws from high above in the chassis, saving over 17g of weight. Using the screws will result in a lower centre of gravity and improved handling and it is available for pre-order now.

Yokomo BD8 Pitch Control System

Coming from Yokomo and made for the World Championship-winning BD8 electric touring car is the new Pitch Control System. Used by Ronald Völker to sweep the recent second round of the 2016/17 ETS, the system utilises a tie-rod brace that runs along the centre of the chassis, connecting the kit’s standard 1-piece servo mount and the updated motor mount bulkhead for reduced chassis pitch and increased forward traction. In addition to stiffening the chassis in longitudinal direction the set will also allow to take influence on the top deck’s flex characteristics with an additional mounting point. The set will become available by end of March.

Gravity RC B64 2mm diff shim

Gravity RC have introduced a new optional part for Team Associated’s B64 4WD off-road buggy in the form of a 2mm diff shim. The 3-D-printed part is conventionally used to raise the rear differential of the B64 buggy. The increased height of the diff will result in a more conventional dog bone angle at the desired ride height and will increase grip and overall consistency. The part is especially recommended in the rear, but also applicable for the front.

SWorkz S35-3 chassis balance weights

SWorkz have introduced dedicated chassis balance weights for the new S35-3 nitro off-road buggy. Designed to be a direct fit thanks to pre-drilled threads in the chassis plate, the weights attach with a pair of fasteners each, allowing to easily and swiftly up the weight in 15g steps with up to 45g possible.
