MIP Monster Beetle Super Ball Diff kit

Available now for pre-order is MIP’s Super Ball Diff kit for the Tamiya Monster Beetle and all other Tamiya vehicles that make use of the iconic “Frog”-style transmission. It is a direct bolt-on kit, with no modifications needed for both the 2015 Monster Beetle and 2016 Blackfoot trucks. It was designed to work with Tamiya’s brand-new universal pin drive axle, giving the option of installing brushless motors without fear of destroying the stock gear differential or extremely expensive vintage ball differential. The ability to add different grease viscosities for tuning and no fear of slipping will bring the Blackfoot into the 21st Century without losing that old-school 1980’s feel. The kit is available for pre-order now and it will go into productions once a total of 250 pre-purchases are reached. More information on the process can be found here.

JConcepts 2WD buggy lower front wings

JConcepts’s popular 2WD buggy lower front wing series is now available for all popular 1/10th 2WD buggies on the market. The range includes sets for the Team Associated B5/B5M, B6/B6D, TLR 22 3.0, Yokomo YZ2, as well as the Xray XB2 and Kyosho RB6.6. All include tailor-designed front wing mounts made from injection-moulded and durable material as well as a V-angle front wing. The wing mount itself attaches with supplied hardware to the top deck on TLR, Yokomo, Xray and Kyosho vehicles while the Team Associated versions mount directly to the front shock tower. Cut lines are included for easy trimming while dimples are located on the wing itself to indicate where to mount to the front wing mount.

RDRP B6 titanium shock mount set

Revolution Design Racing Products have introduced the titanium shock mount set for the Team Associated B6-series of buggies. A direct replacement for the standard multi-piece shock mounts, the parts are made from a single piece of high-quality Grade 5 titanium and do away with the standard multi-piece design that consists of screws and upper shock mount bushings. The 1-piece design of the shock mounts allows for easy suspension setting changes as they only require to undo the rear lock nut to alter the shock angle while the lightweight yet sturdy material saves weight compared to the stock parts – ideal for stock class weight saving fanatics and everyone who is looking for a lighter buggy. The full set includes a pair of front and rear shock mounts and it includes a set of high-quality locknuts. The front and rear shock mount sets are also available separately.

Reedy LiPo battery weight set updated

After making some updates, the Reedy LiPo battery weight set is back in stock. These weights have been modified (now 22g and 36g) with the value laser etched onto each piece along with the world-famous Reedy Powered logo. These weights can be used together or separately under your low-profile shorty LiPo battery to add ballast and/or lower the vehicle’s CG for improved handling. Each set is precision cut from brass and contains one .5mm (22g) weight and one 1mm (36g) weight, which can be used together or separately.

Exotek B6 and B6D option parts

From Exotek for the Associated B6 and B6D come a number of optional items. First up is the 7075 heavy duty one-piece rear camber mount/bulkhead, its one-piece design meaning easier transmission removal because the camber links now stay in place and much more durability for reduced chances of tweaked camber or bent roll centre mounting. All machined alloy threads means secure mounting and no stripped nylon threads, it is polished and available in anodized factory blue or black. Next up are titanium quick change shock post sets for the front and rear of the buggy. Using Ti 6-4 titanium for durability and lightweight, each post weighing 2grams, its +1mm length for the shock tower thread enables it to accept after market thicker shock towers. Finally there are lightweight yet heavy duty titanium replacement bones for the B6 and B6D MIP Bi-Metal Bone Puck sets with ball diff. Half the weight of steel and twice the strength of aluminium equals a lightweight drive line with increased durability and reduced wear and tear. +1mm length for proper diff end fit without the need of the MIP spacers at the axle means the wheel hexes do not bind up when the wheels are tightened down.
