Yokomo BD7 alloy battery guides & steering limiters

Yokomo BD7 alloy battery guides & steering limiters

Yokomo have introduced new aluminium option parts for the BD7-2016 touring car in the form of aluminium battery guides and steering limited screws. The battery guides, that are also usable on the 2015 car, make for a more secure mounting of the battery pack while adding a factory look thanks to their black anodised surfaces and machined silver edges. On top of this the mounts also make for an improved weight balance when used with lower capacity batteries. As for the steering limiter screws, the machined alloy parts screw into the top of the Ackermann arms, they come as pairs and are available in 8.0mm, 8.5mm and 9.0mm diameter to mechanically limit steering travel which can reduce wheel chatter at high steering angles. All parts become available by end of May.

Schumacher Atom GT12 centre weight

Schumacher Atom GT12 centre weight

Schumacher have announced the release of a centre weight for the Atom GT12 car. Traditionally GT12 cars are underweight and the positioning of additional ballast is a great tuning aid. This new centre weight for the Atom adds 40 grams of weight straight in the centre of the car, giving a great deal of benefits to the cars performance including a lower centre of gravity and a reduced polar moment. The black anodised weight is also stronger than the kit part and makes for easier assembly.
