Avid introduce 1.5mm carbon fibre arm inserts for the HB D413 1/10th 4WD buggy. They offer the buggy another great tuning feature by reducing the flex and twist in the arm. It is common to fine tune the response of the vehicle by placing them just on the front or rear or on both ends and thus the drop-fit inserts are available as separate front and rear sets and as combo set as well.

Aimed at 1/12th on-road racers the body is inspired by the supercars that call the esses of Silverstone and Brands Hatch home. Russian company Insane-RC introduce the new Carpet Fighter 1/10th scale short course truck tyres and a line of foam inserts. Starting with the tyre, it is developed for high-grip indoor carpet racing and it sports specially designed inner ribs for improved carcass stiffness which makes for much better stability especially in high-speed corners as the ribs minimise the gab between the tyre and the wheel. The tyres are made in Russia from 100 percent natural rubber which is meant to stay consistent even in freezing weather conditions which can be important when racing on outdoor carpet or astroturf tracks. Also new are foam inserts for all Carpet Fighter tyres. Available in three different hardness of standard, hard and super hard the cut inserts are ideal for carpet racing.

Introducing a system that looks and works much like disk brakes on motorcycles, bikes, and large cars, MIP’s all new Real Brakes are here for the Losi 5ive-T. Consisting of proper and replaceable brake pads for stopping power and a disk rotor that is sure to last the life of the car, this system is sure to stop Losi’s large scale truck on a dime. With the updated brakes adjusting the pitch of the car in the air is a synch and as the car reacts in the air the brake rotor will not get cocked forward or backward due to special brake guide. This system has been tested for months by MIP’s product development team and is attributed with the 2014 West Coast Nationals Win and 2015 Nitro Challenge wins.

JConcept’s Smoothies 1/10th buggy slick tyres are now also available in green compound in addition to the already released gold compound tyres. Released as a 60mm bead mounting diameter, the tyres mount straight to the latest generation wheels. The carefully profiled tyre carcass rolls through the turns with efficiency while the maximum smooth surface area grips the speciality surfaces. The tyres include Dirt-Tech 60mm inserts and they are available as 2WD buggy front and 2WD/4WD rear tyre.

New from German brand Orcan come EFRA 2654 and EFRA 2669 pipes in a special “Tuned” variant. They offer an extremely thin wall thickness for maximised efficiency and extreme top RPM. Both include Orcan’s universal OA26C+ muffler that is the best all-round solution for most tracks. The more top-speed oriented AO26S+ and the more torquey OA26M+ manifold are available separately.

New from VBC Racing and made for the Wildfire D07 touring car is the Aggressive Package chassis conversion kit. It is based around a new 2.25mm carbon fibre main chassis that places the motor more towards the rear for increased steering feeling. Included are also a new 2.0mm topdeck and new 510T front and 189T rear low friction belts. The conversion is meant to excel on carpet and high-grip tracks.
