Pro-Line limited edition Fuel Stick

Pro-Line limited edition Fuel Stick

Pro-Line introduce the “very limited edition” Fuel Stick. Used in Ty Tessmann’s dominating performance at the 2014 IFMAR Buggy Worlds, the Fuel Stick is designed as a no expense spared successor to the original Pro-Line Fuel Gun. Built for ultra-fast refuelling, the nozzle tip is also designed to fill the tank completely. The diffuser screen covering the outlet prevents excess splashing and prevents large bubbles from forming during filling. The vertical trigger orientation makes refuelling a truck or buggy more ergonomic especially when doing so over high pit walls and it is also good for use with 1/8th and 1/10th cars. An easy to read gauge marked in 10cc increments helps to estimate mileage at a glance. Continuing the over-the-top theme, the nozzle and trigger assemblies are made of machined billet aluminium anodised in Pro-Line blue. Each Fuel Stick is stamped with a unique serial number and certificate of authenticity verifying that it was fully made in the USA and hand assembled in Pro-Line’s Southern California headquarters.

JConcepts Ruptures 1.9″ performance scaling tyre

JConcepts Ruptures 1.9" performance scaling tyre

New from JConcepts comes the Ruptures 1.9″ performance scaling tyre in green compound. It is meant to be an extremely tacky yet versatile tyre and the design starts with a layout of individual “large islands” that react to directional and forward loading characteristics like a soft gummy candy. The long horizontal attack bars are connected with solid sidewall detail which braces the sidewall for the high impact situations. The centre “mini islands” help maintain spinning speed and at half height provide some space to sling clean during those dirty trail runs. The entire top level of the tread has built-in cuts and recessing which provide a sharp edge. A sidewall radial rib connected with a dual position arrow help maintain stability and help the driver squeak out of a tough situation. The carcass itself is extremely pliable which conforms to the vast majority of obstacles. Inside the carcass, JConcepts features a connected “Y” loop ribbing design which blends carefully into the sidewall. The bracing supports the lower half of the tire while maintaining the upper flex characteristics. The tyres include a soft open cell foam insert capable of standing up the super soft compound but flexible enough for sharp terrain.

Radtec BD7-2015 aluminium chassis

Radtec introduce a 7075 aluminium main chassis plate for the Yokomo BD7-2015 touring car. Made from 2.0mm high-grade aluminium and using the kit’s original chassis shape the chassis offers a higher rigidity than the standard carbon fibre part and precision machining to reduce the overall weight. The left and right outer edges sport 15 degree chamfered edges to reduce chassis scrubbing in high speed corners and the black anodised chassis is a direct replacement for the kit part.

ProTek 2S-6S 4-battery parallel charge board

ProTek’s all-new 2S-6S 4-battery parallel charger board will enable to charge up to four batteries simultaneously, while balancing the individual cells of each pack. The board is encased in an impact-resistant custom-molded plastic shell and is compatible with LiPo, LiIon and LiFe batteries. The DC input and battery port are protected with replaceable fuses, and each cell and balance wire is protected with self-resetting poly fuses. The board uses standard T-style connectors and JST-XH balance connectors for the batteries and it should only be used when the charging batteries are of the same cell count, similar age and similar discharge rates.

Muchmore warming LiPo safety bag

Muchmore warming LiPo safety bag

New from Muchmore comes a LiPo safety bag with built-in heating system to maintain a certain battery temperature while charging in cold ambient temperatures. Keeping the inside at a constant 30 degree Celsius the bag helps to raise the battery’s performance which can be helpful especially when racing stock classes. The heating system works in a voltage range of 7.4V to 13.8V and it is housed in a proper, fire-resistant safety bag. While a safety bag for charging and discharging duties is mandatory at many tracks you may need to check if the track’s or race series’ rules allow the battery heating devices.
