Exotek TLR 22 steering rack ver.2 set

Exotek TLR 22 steering rack ver.2 set

Exotek introduce the steering rack version 2 set for the use with the TLR 22, 22T and 22SCT. The updated version features a new design that uses less parts. The compact steering assembly replaces the kit’s rail-type steering with a conventional dual ballcrank type that bolts into the stock locations of the 22 chassis. The geometry is working in perfect tandem with the front links and suspension of the 22 while the reverse mounted steering cranks matches the movement of the steering knuckles resulting in aligned angles of the steering turnbuckles when turning left and right. Bump steer can be easily changed by spacing the rack up or down and the steering link angle can be changed by adding spacers to the inboard ball ends. The inboard ball ends laydown position also helps eliminate ball cups popping off from the stock 22SCT rack. Constructed of high quality alloy with the rack and cranks made of 7075 alloy and all alloy parts anodised in polished gun metal grey.

Associated B5M hard A-arms & brass rear arm mounts

Associated B5M hard A-arms & brass rear arm mounts

Team Associated introduce new optional parts for the mid-motor B5M buggy in the form of hard composite front and rear A-arms as well as brass “C” and “D” rear suspension mounts. The harder composite material of the A-arms adds durability while offering higher stiffness at the same time, making them ideal to add a bit of precision when racing on high traction surfaces or in high ambient temperatures. Also new are the Factory Team “C” and “D” suspension mounts for the rear end of the B5M. The parts are designed to replace the kit’s plastic mounts with metal items that offer higher rigidity and an increased weight of 20g and 15g respectively. The added weight helps to adjust the overall weight bias when track conditions call for it.

RDRP RB6 front aluminium bulkhead

Revolution Design Racing Products introduce a front aluminium bulkhead for the Kyosho RB6 buggy. The part is designed to replace the kit’s plastic bulkhead with a more durable and more precise item, with the bulkhead being machined from high quality 7075-T6 material. The part not only makes for a solid base for the steering levers and the front shock tower but it also does away with ripped-out ball studs, adding additional durability. Designed for the RB6 the bulkhead also fits the RT6 stadium and SC6 short course truck and it comes black anodised and laser-etched to match with the remainder of the RDRP option parts.

Motogo Seiki M22-S.A.C. prototype

Motogo Seiki M22-S.A.C. prototype

Japanese option parts wizards Motogo Seiki have released images of their TLR 22 based M22-S.A.C. mid motor buggy. The company that introduced a mid motor conversion kit for the Kyosho RB5 buggy some years ago developed a completely new transmission for the buggy with the main gear and slipper shaft being placed extremely low within the gearbox. The idler gear is made of a RB6 differential gear, from what we understand, and it drives the standard 22 ball differential meaning the unit is of a 3-gear design over the standard 4-gear mid motor gearbox. The whole transmission case is machined from aluminium with the rear shock tower sitting almost in “rear motor” position allowing to place the rear wing above the rear A-arms for a more compact appearance of the buggy.
