DE Racing has just expanded our line of BumpSkids with new models for the Kyosho MP9 TKI3 and Hot Bodies D812. The Kyosho BumpSkid was designed to work with the thicker front hinge pin plate that was adopted at the 2010 Worlds and now standard on the TKI3. The Hot Bodies model complements the factory rear skid plate for complete chassis protection. Also new from DE Racing is a mud guard for the Hot Bodies D812 that attaches to the rear arms using factory holes.

New SWorkz S104 A-arms & S350 options

SWorkz S104 & S350 options

Following yesterday’s introduction of the Performance chassis conversion kit for the S104 EK1, SWorkz has more options for the 1/10th scale 4WD buggy as well as their S350 line of 1/8th vehicles to offer. Starting with the S104 parts, available soon are new wider front and rear arms for increased trackwidth and improved drivability. The suspension arms are also of an updated design with additional webbing and made from a harder compound for increased strength and reduced flex. For the S350 series of buggies comes a new alloy rear toe plate with adjustable inserts to make for a wider tuning range of toe-in settings and available now is a wheel hub weight set including different add-on weight for the steering knuckles and rear hubs.

Pro-Line '81 Bronco & new Short Course options

Pro-Line have a new bodyshell for Short Course trucks, pre-assembled Pro-Spec shock absorbers and pre-mounted Interco TLS SX Super Swamper SC tyres available. First up is the 1981 Ford Bronco bodyshell, designed to fit a wide range of trucks such as the Pro-2, Slash, Slash 4×4 and SC10, the body resembles the iconic Bronco truck for a true scale old school look. It comes clear, with a large decal sheet and required the use of extended body mounts due to its dimensions.

Pirani RC The Roller adjustment tool

Italian company Pirani RC now have a helpful tool called The Roller available. Designed to fit a wide range of drivers the small cylinder is simply slid over the tool tip and a combination of 8 markings and an air bubble helps to make exact 1/16th or 1/8th of a turn adjustments to toe and camber angle adjustment screws and pivot balls. At only 20mm diameter it is also very handy and easy to store.

Pro-Line B5M Phantom body & Trifecta rear wing

Pro-Line introduce the Phantom design body for the Team Associated B5M and the Trifecta 1/10th buggy rear wing. Starting with the body whose design elements sport the finger prints of Pro-Line’s Lee Martin who first brought the shape to the Tamiya TRF201 buggy. Now the Phantom is also available for the B5M and while being aggressively shaped for a unique look, the body also sports several performance elements such as a forward-biased cabin, sweeping body lines that flow back to a single point and an optional centre fin that makes for additional high-speed stability. As usual the body comes made from clear polycarbonate and includes window masks and a decal sheet.

SWorkz S104 EK1 Performance chassis kit

Available from end of March is SWorkz’ new Performance chassis conversion kit for the S104 EK1 1/10th scale buggy. The kit will include a new aluminium lower chassis plate with venting holes in the motor area, it comes with a new motor and centre drivetrain mount, new saddle pack locators to relocate the battery to a side-by-side configuration and the kit will also include a new rear topdeck and new front and rear arms. Also supplied are several new plastic parts and a new bodyshell.

Samix TRF418 chassis conversion kit

Samix TRF418 chassis conversion kit

New company Samix introduce their first option part in the form of a chassis conversion kit for the Tamiya TRF418. The kit is based on a 82mm wide and 2.35mm thick carbon fibre chassis that is slightly softer and narrower than the TRF kit part to make for more torsional flex and higher corner speed without having to worry about the chassis plate bottoming out during heavy cornering. Included with the matte-finish chassis is also a blue anodised aluminium steering post stiffener, a blue anodised aluminium floating motor mount, battery positioners and a spring steel layshaft. The kit already prove its performance by making the Modified TC A-main at the recent TITC event in the hands of Nicholas Lee. Xray XB4 linear spring sets

Xray XB4 linear spring sets

Xray have new linear springs for the XB4 line of 1/10th off-road buggies available. The new ‘hard’ 4-dot springs offer a C=0.80 rating for the front and C=0.50 rating for the rear, making them the firmest XB4 springs so far. Sold as pair each set is measured and matched to provide identical damping characteristics and they come laser-engraved for easy identification. The springs fit the XB4, XB4’14 and XB4 2WD buggy alike.
