Absima Combat Series competition servos

German Team C distributor Absima now have their own range of high-performance servos available. The ACS1615SG (0.09s/15kg-cm), ACS1614SG (0.07s/14kg-cm) and ACS1622SG (0.14s/22-kg-cm) are standard size and standard voltage servos that feature coreless motors, steel gears and aluminium/plastic heatsink cases. Also coming are the ACS1623SG (0.1s/23kg-cm) and ACS1620SG (0.09s/20kg-cm), both are high-voltage compatible offerings, again with coreless motors, steel gears and heatsink cases. It is understood that a range of low-profile servos is around the corner too.

Vampire Racing saddle pack jumper wire

New from Vampire Racing comes this heavy-duty jumper wire for saddle battery packs. Made using thick 4.5 square millimetre high-flex silicone wire and silver-plated 4mm bullet-type connectors the wire also offers a 2mm charging port for a balancer harnesses making it ideal not only for connecting saddle packs in use but also while charging. The 100mm long wire is usable with many 1/10th and 1/8th applications and is available now.

Yokomo BD7-2014 SLF titanium-coated shock shafts

Available now are these SLF titanium-coated shock shafts for the Yokomo BD7-2014 kit. Coming for standard and low-profile shocks, the special coating of the shafts reduces friction for a more efficient damping action while the gold-colour surface treatment also increases the surface hardness to make them less prone to become scratched during use.

WRC STX 2014 2mm ergal main chassis plate

Italian company WRC now have a 2mm ergal chassis available for the STX 2014 touring car. Made from black anodised material the chassis comes in handy on all high traction surfaces such as carpet and sprayed asphalt as it can make for smoother cornering and higher corner speeds.

Fantom 12VDC & 24VDC power supplies

Fantom introduce two new heavy-duty power supplies for 100 t0 240VDC input. First up is the smaller 575 watts version that offers up to 47A continuous output current and 12VDC output voltage. The device features two internal power supply units for redundancy and it measures roughly 330x57x76mm and weights around 1500g. The second new power supply offers a whooping 1150 watts output power, 47A output current and 24VDC output, making it ideal especially for all racers who need to fill 4S or 6S LiPo batteries at high charge currents. Like the smaller 575W version it offers redundancy, over-voltage, fault and short circuit protection, an internal cooling fan, rubber feet and 4mm female gold-plated output jacks. Both include heavy-duty US-type power chords and are available now.

RDRP Ultra Glowplug Wrench

The Ultra Glowplug Wrench is the latest nitro tool release from Revolution Design Racing Products. The wrench is designed for the use with standard and turbo glowplugs, the main body is made from high quality spring steel and incorporates an 8mm nut driver for the plug while an O-ring equipped recession at the top end of the tool takes a spare glow plug, making the wrench the ideal companion for demanding qualifiers and finals. Laser-etched logos let the tool stand out while a sturdy cross pin makes tightening and undoing even tightly fitted plugs a breeze.

Exotek B5 Flite LiPo mounting strap

Exotek now have this carbon fibre mounting strap for the Team Associated B5 buggy available. The “Flite” weighs in at only 6.5g and is therefore almost 4g lighter than the stock part. Added rigidity makes for a secure battery mounting while the design and material used underline the cool factory look.

Made from 1.6mm high-quality carbon fibre material, the arm braces are ideal for stiffening the suspension arms of the T4’14 in high traction conditions. Strategically lightened without compromising on strength, the parts are a direct fit on the stock arms. Available separately for both the front and rear arms with the required screws, the braces are available now.
