LFR Hammer pre-cut 1/8th off-road wing

LFR Hammer pre-cut 1/8th off-road wing

Leadfinger Racing have announced the release of the pre-cut Hammer 1/8th off-road wing. Designed to withstand even the hardest of crashes the wing features a special design as, by smoothing out the surface on the top of the wing, durability increased dramatically. The same theory was applied to the rear. By eliminating the bolt on wicker bill, no holes need to be drilled. Instead, LFR has created a built in wicker that is moulded into the design. The last step was to make it look more characteristic to an 1/8 thawing, and get away for the 1/10 look. This was accomplished by dropping the side dams which in turn helped to create some serious down force. To make things easier for the racer the wing comes pre-cut, doing away with the hassle to cutting the ultra thick polycarbonate.

LMR 27 1/10th scale low-profile buggy wing

LMR 27 1/10th scale low-profile buggy wing

LMR have introduced their all-new 27 wing for the use with 1/10th off-road buggies. Designed with high-traction racing in mind the wing weighs in at only 17 gram while its low-profile design significantly lowers the car’s centre of gravity. For lower grip racing conditions the wing has a recess where an optional 1mm carbon fibre plate can sit and act as a stiffener, making this wing produce the maximum amount of downforce and still weighing less than 20 grams in the process. The pre-drilled plate, currently only available for Yokomo buggies, has three hole placements so the wing can be moved forward or back depending on the level of traction required.

JConcepts B5 Aero front scoop

JConcepts B5 Aero front scoop

JConcepts have introduced the Aero front scoop for Team Associated B5-series buggies. Usable on all buggies with flat front arm tower setup, the option part is a simple yet effective way to gain some response in the front-end in high-speed situations. The scoop provides a more neutral feel low-speed and tends to numb out the steering in 180 degree corners while providing great holding power in high-speed sweeping corners typically associated with larger track layouts and conditions. Cut lines are included for easy trimming while dimples are located on the wing itself to indicate where to mount to the front shock tower. The wing uses 2x8mm screws for mounting but the needed screw holes need to be drilled by yourself.

JConcepts Aero lower front wing

JConcepts Aero lower front wing set

New from JConcepts comes the Aero lower from wing for 1/10th 2WD buggies such as the Team Associated B5M and TLR 22 3.0. The lower front wing mounts in a more forward position and is quite easy to trim, use and test without sacrificing all important track time. The front wing features a high-attack design with trim-able rear gurney options. A radical, edgy design which functions and compliments the Finnisher and Silencer body design includes elements and features fresh for the latest off-road conditions. The lower front wing comes in 2-piece sets, is not car specific and can be used on most all 1/10th off-road buggies. Due to customer and team demands, JConcepts has opted to release a genuine 3D printed front mount for the B5M and TLR 22 3.0 vehicle via the company’s Shapeways store. Although not an injection moulded part, the 3D print item should give ample support to drivers wanting to utilise the JConcepts designed parts for a completely matched setup as used by the factory race team.

JConcepts Hybrid 1/8th off-road wing

Seen for the first time at last week’s Dirt Nitro Challenge, JConcepts have now officially introduced the all-new Hybrid 1/8th off-road wing.
