Wrap Up Next Carbon Frame Real Concept drift car

Asian company Wrap Up Next have released first teaser images of their forthcoming Carbon Frame Real Concept drift car. Most likely based off of the FR-D kit, the car will offer full-size vehicle weight distribution with a front motor and rear wheel drive, and a customisable inner carbon fibre frame allows to adapt the chassis kit to a wide range of drift car body shells. Traxxas 1/8 Funny Car Special Edition

Coming from Traxxas is their new 1/8th scale Special Edition Funny Car. The RTR vehicle is based on the company’s standard Funny Car but features a vast amount of upgrades such as GTR shock absorbers with PTFE-coated aluminium bodies and titanium-nitride coated shock shafts, it comes with lightweight 7075-T6 aluminium wheel spindles and anodised 6061-T6 aluminium steering blocks and rear suspension link mounts. The car is available with red or blue anodised alloy parts and it also includes a Race Replica ProGraphix painted body, a 4-channel TQi 2.4GHz rado system with Traxxas Stability Management as well as the Castle Creation powered ET-3s brushless power system.

Tamiya Porsche Turbo RSR 934 Black Edition TA-02SW

Coming in January is Tamiya’s re-release Porsche Turbo RSR Type 934 Black Edition on the iconic TA-02SW chassis. The chassis is the short wheelbase variant of Tamiya’s renown shaft-driven 4WD tub chassis that pretty much started the 190mm touring car crash back in the 1990’s. No official details are available yet but they are expected to surface in time for the release.

Team Associated RC28T RTR micro race truck

Team Associated have re-released the RC10T competition truck, however probably not in the form many vintage fans are looking for. The new RC28T is a shrunk version of AE’s iconic, ROAR nationals winning, and pretty sought-after kit, with the palm-sized truck coming with everything needed in one box. The package includes a 2.4GHz 2-channel transmitter, and the 147mm long truck comes factory-assembled with an integrated receiver and speed controller unit, an integrated proportional servo and of course the a replica body shell with the classic RC10T livery.

Mugen MBX8 1/8th nitro buggy kit – Coming soon

Mugen have announced the soon release of their all-new MBX8 1/8th nitro buggy platform. The latest incarnation of Mugen’s ultra successful and popular MBX series buggy is meant to be more durable, faster, more efficient, easier to work on and also lighter than its predecessor, the World and European Championship winning MBX7. WRC GT Due 1.4 1/8th nitro on-road kit

Coming soon from WRC Racing is the GT Due 1.4 1/8th scale nitro on-road classic kit. The car is an evolution step of the GT Due ’13, it is based on a 7075 aluminium chassis and features rigid suspension parts that do away with the need to use shock absorbers while still allowing to adjust parameters such as front toe, camber and castor angles as well as rear toe and camber settings. The 2WD drivetrain uses a rear beltdrive system and a large disc brake mounted to the rear differential case. Other features include a single speed gearbox, a new fuel tank, a new carbon fibre radio plate and new servo mount.
