Kyosho Outlaw Rampage Desert Racing Truck

Following earlier teasers, Kyosho have finally introduced the new Outlaw Rampage Desert Racing Truck. Bringing a new dimension to R/C cars which incorporates real truck components in a 2WD scale truck. With a new chassis designed from the ground up, the underbody features double wishbone suspension on the front with a link system suspension on the rear in combination with the long stroke of high volume aerating oil shocks to deliver a standard of performance worthy of a 2WD trophy truck. Heavy-duty drive system realises high durability and reliability and is designed to handle high loads with its 32-pitch counter gear and diff gear with slipper clutch to manage sudden load changes from landings etc. With a power centre combination consisting of the newly developed ‘G15’ brushed motor and large capacity Vortex WP Brush ESC 45A, the dynamic performance of the Outlaw Rampage is matched by its stunning 1970-80’s trophy truck style with pre-cut and painted body with decals applied.

Yokomo YR-X12A 1/12th scale pan car

Yokomo have announced the upcoming release of the YR-X12A 1/12th scale pan car with an aluminium chassis. Based on the car that dominated the podium at the recent Japanese modified nationals, with Yokomo ace driver Ebukuro Toto taking the TQ and win, this car also comes with an aluminium lower brace for lowered centre of gravity, which together helps increase cornering speed as well as preventing the car from traction rolling. This new version is aimed specifically at high traction surfaces.

Serpent 988 1/8th nitro on-road kit

Serpent have officially unveiled their all-new Viper 988 1/8th nitro on-road car. The latest evolution step of the world championship winning Viper platform was first seen at the Ettlingen round of the 2017 ENS, and it is based on a redesigned flex control chassis made of 7075-T6 aluminium that allows to use a weight balance system and carbon fibre flex brace. A flow-type aero-style bumper with separate inserts will control overall steering and grip while newly-designed front and rear multi-piece suspension arms allow to adjust the overall flex of the wishbones using composite or optional carbon fibre inserts. In addition, hard arms are also available if more strength and even less flex is needed.

SWorkz S35-T Pro nitro truggy kit

Following a couple of teaser SWorkz have now officially introduced the S35-T 1/8th nitro truggy kit. Based off of the S35-3 nitro buggy the truck kit comes with a range of option parts already included in the kit with the truck featuring a newly designed Ackermann steering system and a quick-tune front shock tower for swift and easy shock angle changes. Also included is the lightweight plastic BBD differential system for improved acceleration while the new radio tray system makes for a more precise throttle and brake response.

Xpress Execute XQ1 electric touring car kit

Following month of development and the release of several teaser images, Xpress have now officially announced the release of the Execute XQ1 1/10th 4WD electric touring car kit. The car is based on a carbon fibre double deck chassis assembly and features new design 1-piece lower front and rear bulkheads as well as 1-piece bulkhead covers to do away with tweak issues associated with multi-piece designs. Machined slots in the chassis and shock towers ensure perfect alignment and the 2-tone colour finish of the parts let the car stand out. Other features include bearing-supported anti-roll bars for smooth operation, low-profile shock absorbers and shock towers for a low centre of gravity and marked spring pre-load nuts ensure swift and easy ride height adjustment. The kit is rounded out by aluminium suspension mounts with composite inserts for convenient suspension geometry changes.

Factory-assembled and ready to hit the track after the completion with your own electronics, the buggy builds on the proven ER-14 platform and features an aluminium chassis, carbon fibre shock stays, threaded large volume aluminium shock absorbers, and front and rear anti-roll bars. The buggy comes pre-adjusted to race specifications and with either a clear or pre-painted body shell.

Team C TM4 V2 4WD buggy – Teaser images

Team C have released first images of their forthcoming TM4 V2 1/10th 4WD off-road buggy. It is understood that the buggy will become available in two variants – one without upper decks but lower carbon fibre chassis splines for rigidity while the second variant will feature standard front and rear carbon fibre upper decks.
