Team Associated Apex 1/18th scale Touring RTR kits

Team Associated have introduced the Apex 1/18th scale Touring RTR kits. The car that once was the RC18 received a new paint scheme, available in either charcoal or white, it comes with black spoked wheels, an XP radio, fluid-filled shocks, and an inline mounted Super 370 high-performance motor. A 6-cell battery and wall charger are also included. Needed for completion are just four AA cells for the transmitter.

Infinity reveal 1/10th 200mm touring car prototype

Creation Model have revealed the prototype of their forthcoming Infinity 1/10th 200mm nitro touring car kit. The yet unnamed car makes a first public appearance during this week’s IFMAR 1/10th 200mm World Championships in Gubbio, Italy. Although sporting outsourced suspension and transmission components the development of the Miyashita designed car is pretty far which is also reflected by the very fast practice pace of the Jilles Groskamp steered example. Teamsaxo F1-180V2 1/10th formula car kit

Teamsaxo have released first renderings of their forthcoming F1-180V2 1/10th formula car. The kit will offer multiple battery mounting positions including transversal and inline mounted packs, it features a centrally mounted laydown steering servo mount, a single bellcrank steering and front arms made up of carbon fibre sheet material with inserts allowing for easy caster adjustments. Xray tease XT2 1/10th 2WD stadium truck

Xray have released a first teaser image of their forthcoming XT2 1/10th scale 2WD stadium truck kit. It is understood that the vehicle is based off of the XB2 line of buggies but no other information is available at this time. Expect detailled images and all information in the truck’s specification and features to be released soon.

PR Racing ST1V3T 1/10th mid motor racing truck

PR Racing have released first images of their forthcoming ST1V3T 1/10th scale mid motor racing truck kit. The vehicle builds on a touch yet lightweight aluminium chassis, it features composite front and rear shock towers, threaded aluminium big bore shock absorbers as well as a laydown transmission. The kit will also include carbon fibre Ackermann plates for the front steering knuckles, a carbon fibre upper deck and battery mount as well as rear aluminium suspension mounts. Tamiya Blackfoot 2016 1/10th 2WD truck

Tamiya have announced the soon release of the 2016 Blackfoot 1/10th scale 2WD truck kit. The re-release of the original 1986 Blackfoot features a number of upgrades while still keeping that oldschool appearance and so the vehicle sports a 4-wheel independent suspension design with a front double wishbone and rear trailing arm setup, the kit comes with CVA shock absorbers as well as rear universal driveshafts for improved reliability, efficiency and power supply. Part of the kit are also yellow wheels with chevron-tread tyres and also the Blackfoot’s iconic pick-up truck bodyshell. The ’16 kit will become available by mid-September.

WRC GTX EP 1/8th electric on-road kit

Italian company WRC have introduces the GTX EP 1/8th electric on-road kit. Based off of the nitro-powered GTX car the electric-powered variant features a floating radio plate, a longer rear body centring plate as well as an improved front upper arm support. New for the EP is also an innovative battery connection system. The car was designed for the use with 2S shorty LiPo packs that require to be of a “through type” connector tube design to allow them to sit in-line which results in a very centralised weight distribution. Other features include a heavy duty 5mm 7075 aluminium main chassis, 2.5mm carbon fibre upper deck, a Kevlar pulley kit, symmetrical suspension parts as well as a new body support, and wheel lock system.

BMT 701 1/10th 200mm nitro on-road kit

Italian company BMT have introduced their all-new 701 1/10th 200mm nitro on-road kit. The car is based on a 7075-T6 aluminium chassis whose design ensures equal torque flex characteristics left to right and it utilises lightweight transmission parts, including a small and ultra low weight 2-speed assembly, for reduced rotational masses and thus improved acceleration and braking. For reliability reasons both the front and rear differential come with high-quality steel gears, greatly improving durability especially on high-grip surfaces. The chassis is topped off by a 2mm carbon fibre top plate that uses fuel tank quick releases, a 1-piece servo support and a flex system with bushings. The included radio box can be used or even left away to further scrub weight.
