Kyosho Inferno Neo2.0 ReadySet

Kyosho introduce the Inferno Neo2.0 1/8th nitro ready-to-run buggy. Sharing many design elements with the 8-time World Championship Inferno platform the Neo2.0 is based on a tough aluminium chassis with 3-differential drivetrain and features widely adjustable suspension parts, big bore shock absorbers with 3.5mm piston rods and universal swing shafts for an efficient drive train. The buggy comes factory-assembled and includes a race-legal KE21R engine, tuned muffler, high-quality steering and throttle servos as well as Kyosho’s KT-200 2.4GHz radio system. The buggy comes with your choice of a yellow or green body shell and is available from September.

Kyosho Ultima RB6 ReadySet

Coming right in time for Christmas is Kyosho’s Ultima RB6 ReadySet 2WD electric buggy. Based around the full-breed competition vehicle the ready-to-run buggy will feature an anodised aluminium chassis, big bore composite shock absorbers, and a mid or rear motor convertible gear box. The ReadySet variant comes as rear motor car for better all-round drivability and included with the buggy is a 2.4GHz radio system, KS201 high response steering servo and a genuine Team Orion brushless motor and controller combo in the form of the Neon One 2700kv motor and Vortex R10 Sport controller.

Xray XT9 1/8th nitro truggy kit announced

Xray introduce their all-new XT9 nitro competition truggy kit. Making use of the winning pedigree of the long-running XT8 platform the new truck features many design elements known from the XB9 buggy combining them to the soon-to-be-released XT9. The truck is based on a newly designed 3mm 7075-T6 aluminium chassis that features a new weight distribution and accommodates a repositioned centre differential. Machined pockets underneath the fuel tank, engine and diffs reduce the weight to a minimum without sacrificing overall rigidity. A redesigned radio compartment sees the receiver battery box for straight-pack LiXX and NiXX batteries in a forward position beside the steering servo while the receiver box is located opposite of the engine.

Kyosho have introduced their new AXXE 1/10th scale EP Offroad vehicle. Available in November as a Readyset in 3 different colours the latest release in the EZ series is a 2wd rock racer. Supplied with a 22T motor and pre-installed 2.4Ghz Kyosho Syncro radio system the car features double wishbone suspension, big bore friction shocks and a heavy duty gear diff.

Tamiya introduce the Gazoo Racing TRD 86 rally car. The kit is based on theĀ  XV-01 4WD belt-driven rally chassis with front motor and fluid-filled shock absorbers. Included come semi-slick rally tyres on black 6-spoke rims and a replica TRD 86 body shell with large decal sheet and optional light inserts for even more realism. The kit is scheduled for a mid-October release in Japan and will become available soon after World wide.

Serpent soon have the Spyder SRX-2 rear motor 2WD buggy available. The Billy Easton designed buggy features a composite fibre chassis, super-tough suspension components, big bore shock absorbers and carbon fibre shock towers. It is designed as pure rear motor buggy to make sure no compromises needed to be made while creating the platform. In October the kit will become available also as a dedicated mid motor version for indoor and high traction tracks followed by the Spyder SCT RM 2WD short course truck. Team C TC10 4WD touring car kit

Team C Racing, formally known for their off-road and GT cars, now enter the electric touring car market with the new TC10 kit. The car builds on a 2.25mm carbon fibre chassis and features front and rear low-profile aluminium bulkheads, aluminium motor mount, a dual bellcrank steering with floating servo mount, low-profile shock towers and aluminium shocks, as well as aluminium suspension mounts, a front spool and rear gear differential. There are no information on a release date yet but the car looks production ready so expect the kit to hit stores soon.

Yokomo B-Max4 III – More details

Yokomo B-Max4 III - More details

Having just released two photos of their new B-Max4 III chassis earlier in the week, Yokomo have now more details and images available. Confirming what we wrote previously the car has a newly designed aluminium main chassis and separate composite side plates for improved straight line stability and rapid cornering. This new configuration has done away with the need for a top deck which also helps with the ease of maintenance. The car also features a new gearbox, slipper drive unit, new wheels with a 12mm Hex and sports a lower centre of gravity for improved cornering.
