Team Durango DEX210 Race Ready RTR

Team Durango introduce the DEX210 Race Spec RTR 2WD 1/10th electric off-road buggy. The car is based on the full-blown competition kit and comes factory-assembled with a composite plastic chassis, the patent pending 3-/4-gear gearbox for mid and rear motor layout, threaded aluminium body oil-filled shock absorbers, fully adjustable suspension parts with inserts for caster and toe angle adjustment as well as competition tyres and wheels. Included with the Race Spec buggy comes a 2.4GHz radio set, Speed Passion 13.5T brushless motor and speed controller as well as a pre-painted body shell.

Serpent Cobra GT-e kit

Serpent introduce the electric version of the World Championship winning Cobra GT 1/8th nitro chassis. The car makes use of a 7075-T6 3mm aluminium chassis, oversized lower suspension arms, aluminium suspension mounts with plastic inserts, 4.5mm carbon fibre shock towers, 16mm big bore shock absorbers, CVD-type driveshafts, front and rear anti-roll bars and the light and compact radio tray with vertically mounted steering servo that was introduced with the Cobra-e buggy. Not included in the kit are electronics, body, and wheels.

Team Associated RC12R5.2 Factory Team kit

Team Associated introduce the RC12R5.2 Factory Team kit. Based on the R5.1 the kit features the well known dynamic strut front end with symmetrical components with updated lower suspension arms with more accurate mounting for a more precise build every time. The 12R5.2 continues to use the wide three-point rear pod optimized for fitting brushless motors, with beefed up rear blue aluminum bulkheads to maximize rigidity and durability. Tying the two bulkheads together is the new carbon fiber motor mount cross-brace to gain further rear end rigidity and durability. Also included in the kit is a 2.5mm woven carbon fibre chassis, pivot-ball link rear suspension, refined aluminum side spring retainers and a center shock with through-shaft design.

Intech BR-6 buggy announced

Intech have just announced the BR-6 1/8th nitro off-road buggy. The successor of the BR-5 kit features many refinements compared to the previous kit in the form of redesigned carbon fibre shock towers, upper steering plate and steering brace, all of which replacing the aluminium parts seen on the BR-5. Also the radio tray received a major make-over as with the BR-6 the battery box is placed in a forward position, a common sight on many of the current nitro buggies. Other new parts include composite plastic chassis braces, updated shock absorbers, centre universal shafts and drive train parts.

Mugen MBX-6 Eco USA race edition

Mugen USA have released this special race edition MBX-6 Eco. The 1/8th brushless buggy sports new silver graphite throughout and comes with a number of optional part as standard. Included are the aluminium front upper arm mount, rear arm mount, front & rear axle shaft and joint cups. Also wide offset wheel hubs in 1 and 2mm, S5 silicone o-rings and front and rear shock springs in 1.5/7/75T & 1.5/8.25T respectively.

Serpent Cobra Sport buggy

Serpent have released the next addition to their growing Cobra line, the Cobra Sport buggy. Based on the full race version of the Cobra buggy and sharing the race genes, geometry and most technical features, the Sport version features some less expensive materials, without suffering performance wise. With its superior suspension, race geometry, high performance diffs, bigbore shocks and race-clutch, it is already highly specced. All parts and options of the high end race version fit this Sport version too, so a step by step upgrade is possible.

Atomik introduce the Metal Mulisha Brian Deegan 1/18 Scale Ford Fiesta RTR rally car. The fully licensed replica of Brian’s X-Games rally cross car comes with a 4WD drivetrain, 2-in-1 speed controller and 2.4GHz receiver combo, a V370 brushed motor and is “Powered By Venom” with an included 7.2V 1000mAh NiMH battery and charger. Also included are oil-filled shock absorbers, rally tyres, and 15 spoke rims.
