Serpent introduce the S966 Team Edition v2 1/8 scale nitro on-road car. The latest variant of the successful 966 platform includes the Centax True Motion clutch system and membrane-equipped RCM shocks as well as the already known SL8 gearbox, front aero bumper, split-type carbon radio plate with flex control, new front geometry with shorter upper arms, new rear camber bracket and upper camber rods and updated shock angles.

TOP Racing are currently working on a Rebel F-1 prototype that was tested during the KRC track opening race in Shenzhen/China. Penny Yip TQ’d and won the F-1 class followed by Frank Ng. TOP will now make use of the experience gained at the race and make further design refinements to the vehicle. Based on the final testing in Japan, TOP may release it for production.

Team Associated release the TC4 Club Racer kit. The 1/10 scale touring car comes as pre-assembled race roller, features a 4WD shaft-driven drive train, 22 precision ball bearings, rear ball differential with lightweight outdrives, front spool, lightweight CVD drive shafts and lightweight oil-filled shock absorbers. Also included are a machined aluminium motor mount and lightweight front bumper. The car is ideal for VTA classes and as spec touring car for club racing purposes. Not included are wheels, tyres and a 190mm body shell.

After a lot of requests, On-Point Racing finally decided to break into the growing World GT market. Based on AE R5 parts, they have now introduced the brand new On-Point WGT 10 conversion kit. This kit is based on the knowledge gained with the On-Point OPC12 kit, which recently had major success at the Snowbird Nationals, by taking TQ and the win in the 1/12th 13.5 class. The kit includes centered battery, forward shock for more consistency, damper tubes for smoother dampening and wider rear posts to have more body stability.

Mckune Design is pleased to announce the release of the much anticipated MD-FGX carbon fiber conversion kit for the 3Racing FGX Formula 1 RC car. The MD-FGX conversion kit allows the use of either standard or shorty 7.4V LiPo batteries. Other features include tunable chassis flex with a regular and stiff tie plate, carbon front wing mount, new standoff location for motor clearance and the ability to run the FGX optional aluminium motor mount, front weight and aluminium steering rack. MD-FGX is available as a complete kit or the chassis and top deck assembly can be purchased separately. Both the chassis and top deck assembly are a direct replacement for stock FGX parts.

Serpent have released a Team Edition version of their S811 Cobra buggy. The new kit include the pro-version 5.5mm machined aluminium shock towers in 7075-T6 alumnium front and rear and hard coated shock-caps front and rear. The use of larger, stronger bearings on all 4 corners of the car makes the Cobra even more reliable combined with new spring-steel wheel-axles. The new V3 diff-coupler and pinion system with 2 larger bearings also improves reliability a lot. The lower rear wing, as already in use on the E-Cobra is now also fitted to the GP Buggy. Finally the machined lowered pockets of the chassis plate have been revised to reduce flex, creating a stiffer / stronger chassis.

Kyosho is pleased to announce the release of the updated TF6 touring car, called the TF6 SP. Featuring a narrowed front and rear chassis design to optimise traction the kit also includes a new upper deck, newly designed steering unit with optimised Ackermann geometry for a more linear steering feel, aluminium spool joint cup for improved durability, longer suspension arms and a rear gear differential to make use of the latest high-power brushless and LiPo set-ups. Serpent announce the release of the S411 Team Edition kit. Seen for the first time at this year’s Nuremberg Toy Fair the TE variant comes with the new RCM shocks, 2.25mm carbon fibre chassis and 2.0mm top deck, carbon LiPo retainers, an improved gear differential with new gears and updated internal shafts, a larger front bumper, longer anti-roll bars, aluminium ball-raced steering place with adjustable Ackermann, thicker body posts and updated manual. The new kit is available now.
