Capricorn P10 SR 1:10th Pan car

Italian brand Capricorn have developed a new platform, a 1/10th pan car that is essentially a scaled down version of the 1/8th 4wd pan car they already produce. Called the P10 SR, it will run a 200mm standard width with 45mm wide rear tyres and 30mm front. Designed to accept a shorty pack or standard square style battery, you have the ability to run up to 3s. While the rear of the car is fixed and with a straight axle there is little to adjust, up front the flex can be adjusted by loosening or tightening the nuts on the front lower carbon plate for a different feeling if needed.

Serpent SRX8GTE WC 1/8th electric GT kit

Serpent have introduced their new SRX8GTE WC 1/8th scale electric GT kit. The SRX8GTE WC is based on the SRX8GTE that has proven its great potential at the World Championships in Miami this January. The WC kit shares many high performance parts from the successful SRX8 platform and in addition to the details carried over from the SRX8, Serpent have introduced many new design concepts to push the SRX8GTE WC well into the future. Included in the SRX8GTE WC kit are the new HTD diffs – these were also used by the team at the Worlds. The internal gears are a staggering Mod 1.25 which puts them at the largest in the market place. With a maximum engagement surface on the tooth for earth shattering oil shearing, the larger volume housing of the differentials reduce any fading or loss of performance in long mains. The internal ratio is an industry-standard 10T/20T. Also new on the SRX8GTE WC are the aluminium uprights with carbon brackets to have access to an increased amount of roll centre positions, coving virtually every track condition. Last but not least come new front and rear shock towers that will be used without the shock brackets on the wishbones, ensuring an optimised suspension geometry. The kits will ship from the 23rd of August.

Axial SCX10 III Jeep JT Gladiator RTR

Coming from Axial is their new SCX10 III Jeep JT Gladiator RTR truck. While continuing to incorporate key components that have made SCX10 vehicles successful, the SCX10 III chassis increases realism with details that include a replica V8 engine to house the front-mounted 540 brushed motor, mated to a realistic transmission housing and transfer case like a 1:1 vehicle. The Spektrum DX3 3-channel 2.4GHz DSMR transmitter and Firma 40A ESC/receiver are also ready to give owners the advantages of innovative Spektrum Smart technology. Out of the box, the SCX10 III Jeep JT Gladiator transmission offers a third-channel DIG function that lets drivers lock the rear axle from the transmitter for front wheel drive and a tighter turning radius. Though locked out from the factory, drivers can set up the vehicle to have a 40 percent faster second gear instead of DIG — or, by adding another micro servo and using a radio with at least four channels, have simultaneous access to both the DIG and two-speed functions.
