LRP S8 BX 2 RTR buggy

The S8 BX 2 RTR is fine-tuned with state of the art and competition race technology, which will see the S8 BX 2 Premium RTR set the new benchmark for 1/8 RTR kits on the R/C market today. Equipped with the new high-tech LRP C3-STX Pro computer transmitter, pre-setup with competition 2.2mm front swaybar and 2.8mm rear swaybar installed and brand new highly sensitive brakes, the S8 BX 2 RTR will handle tough off road conditions with ease. In addition to the vastly improved driving handling, it is also visually improved, with the new aerodynamically advanced bodyshell and stylish 7-spoke black-chromed wheels.

Corally 10SL 200/235mm ‘Side Links’ chassis

Corally have released information about their latest release, the 10SL ‘Side Links’. Shown in prototype form, it is available in a 200mm and 235mm champions kit, in full graphite and undergoes the same transformation as their 12SL chassis, to allow the mounting of LiPo packs. By going from a T-bar to a link, or as Corally are calling it ‘Side Links’, this allows the right amount of space to mount a 1S 3.2V LiPo pack up to a 7.4V stick pack LiPo. The car also features an updated front end and stiffer rear end, compared to its predecessor, that can easily accommodate brushless motors, while a new ‘top deck’ supports to centre shock and also adds extra stiffness to the chassis.

Caster Racing SK-10 1/10th scale EP buggy

Caster Racing have announced the upcoming release of their new 1/10th scale 4wd EP off road buggy. Using a competition RTR chassis design as a foundation, the SK-10 buggy has been given all the racing features that a competition car needs and can be upgraded further to a higher spec at a later time. This RTR features mini big bore shocks with 3.5mm shock shafts and a slipper clutch differential in the center, features that are normally only available in competition kits. Available soon.

Mugen MRX-5 1/8th scale chassis

Having first shown you CAD images and just a few days ago the first photos, Mugen have now released studio photos of their new MRX-5 together with an interview with lead designer and team driver Robert Pietsch. Successful testing in both Europe and Japan has been completed and Mugen Seiki Japan has given the go-ahead to go into full production effective immediately. Robert has been more than satisfied with the intensive test program and feels the new car offers very high traction and lots of steering. The car is really easy to drive and above all is faster than its predecessor.
