LRP S8-BXe Team Brushless buggy

After showing it for the first time as a prototype back in February, LRP have finally released the new electric version of their S8-BX buggy, called the S8-BXe Team. Essentially the same front and rear, the main difference is to the central part of the car where the engine has been replaced with a brushless motor and the fuel tank with the battery mount. Due to the design of the S8 BXe, the choice of motor and battery is simple, fitting all common electronic components and depending on your preferences and applications you have the choice, with all ROAR legal motors and LiPo batteries able to be mounted. A conversion kit for LRP S8 BX Premium RTR and S8 BX Team Kit is also available and allows you to easily convert your nitro car, quickly and economically into an electric version.

Associated RC8T Factory Team LE Kit

Team Associated have announced a Limited Edition version of their RC8T Factory Team truggy. In a limited quantity the Factory Team kit will be supplied with many of the Factory Team option parts that Ryan Maifield used on his truck to capture the 2009 ROAR 1:8 Scale Truck National Championships valued at $146.

Losi 1/18 RTR Mini Desert buggy

Losi have introduced the Mini Desert buggy a byte size off roader that boasts a sand-rail frame, roll cage and chrome wheels for a realistic representation of its full-scale counterpart. Alienpower Raptor 8BB RTR brushless buggy

Alienpower have announced the release of their new Raptor 8BB RTR brushless buggy. This 1/8th scale chassis features a newly designed C-hub steering system that has the king pin axis extend to the wheel center which claims to improve steering performance. There is also a newly developed suspension system with twin adjustable rear suspension modes for flexible driving mode & smooth driving mode, while the car’s narrow solid aluminium chassis has a centralized design for quicker steering and faster response. Supplied with 16mm big bore shocks, the car has a an optional mechanical brake for accurate braking and better control in the air.

Vorsprung durch Technik – Durango DEX410

Team Durango’s DEX410 is possibly the most anticipated electric 4WD buggy of all times! We think this is not a exaggeration as the handmade prototypes (designed and build by German racer Gerd Strenge) are around for many years now but only made it into the hands of some selected team drivers like Jörn Neumann, Billy Easton, Atsushi Hara, Craig Drescher or Mark Pavidis to name just a few. Now ‘The Durango’ is available for everyone thanks to Gerd Strenge and his designer Michael Vollmer who made the impossible possible and took the challenge to create ‘a Durango’ for the mass market. Kyosho Ultima SC – Sneak Peak

Kyosho have sent out a Sneak Peak of another new vehicle, following a previous sneak look at another new car last week. We have no further information on the new Ultima SC, but we can only presume from the SC and the silhouette of the car that this will be a new Short Course truck from the Japanese company, joining a host of other new entrants into this growing class. As it uses the Ultima name we believe it will be based heavily on the Ultima 2wd chassis and will therefore be a 2wd electric SC truck. We will keep you informed of any further information as we get it.
