Piktor Rush 2.2 Upgrade kit

French buggy maker Piktor have released a new suspension upgrade kit for their Rush 2, to upgrade it to version 2.2. Designed for the high American jumps, the kit comes with a full set of extra big bore shocks, 2 new aluminum shock towers, which are also available in carbon fibre as seen in the photos, and finally 4 aluminium shock supports for the lower suspension arms. This is a simple upgrade which gives the car a more conventional shock mounting setup compared to the cars normal lay down configuration. The kit will only be available as an upgrade for the Rush 2.

RC Devil PC10H2 200mm pan car

German company RC Devil have been in touch to show us their latest project, the PC10H2, a 200mm pan car, with plans for a 235mm version also in the works. Based on some Hatzenbach prototypes made by Achim Schulz, this car will be released in a small series and features an innovative dampened front end as well as centrally located batteries and a lot of practical innovations to make it a very competitive car. Made using the highest quality materials, they expect the car to be available in April, with a widening kit to make it to 235mm to follow shortly after.

We’ve seen the CAD images of the radical new Awesomatix touring car chassis that is being designed and produced in Russia, and now we have some good quality photographs of the first car. As we have said before about this car, The two outstanding features are a new patented suspension dampening system, smooth, lightweight and with a low centre of gravity, which is fully adjustable without the need for disassembly and the compression and rebound dampening rates are controllable and consistent. The other thing is the drive train that combines the benefits of shaft and belt drive systems, without the negative side effects such as so-called ‘torque steer’, associated with shaft drive RC cars.

Yokomo MR-4TC BD5 touring car

The latest version of the MR-4TC touring from Yokomo has been released, the BD5. This car was used by Masami Hirosaka to take 3rd spot at last years World Championships and following some refinement from that car, they have released it to the public. The BD5 is an evolution of the previous model and has been tweaked to make the car more stable and make maintenance easier. This rubber spec car is supplied with a 2.5mm thick carbon fibre chassis, 2.0mm thick top deck, 3.5mm thick shock towers, a front one way and newly designed CVDs.

On Monday we brought you full information and CAD images of the all new Josh Cyrul designed Photon 190mm touring car from TOP Racing. With the ROAR Carpet Nats on this weekend, our friends at RC50.com who are covering the event went over to Josh and took a few detailed shots of the car, which we have here. Following qualifying Josh is sitting 3rd in Mod, proving that the car has a lot of potential, even before its release.

The T2R Pro is the third incarnation of Xray’s successful Raycer series of budget touring cars. It’s based on the T2 ‘008/’009 platform and combines their racing pedigree with less expensive materials like glass fibre and aluminium to form what the Slovakian company think is the ultimate budget ra(y)cer.
