Xray XT4 2021 4WD stadium truck kit

Xray have introduced the 2021 variant of their XT4 1/10th scale 4WD stadium truck. The latest incarnation of the XB4-based vehicle feature a new, longer main chassis for improved stability while new narrow front and rear suspension mounts make for an updated suspension geometry that provides increased overall traction. The drivetrain sees the addition of new front, centre and rear diffs that offer an increased oil volume for better consistency in long mains and all-new differential crown and pinion gears, CNC-machined from Hudy spring steel, ensure improved lifespan and reduced noise. Also part of the drivetrain package are new centre driveshafts with 2.5mm drive pins for increased efficiency while new, longer front and rear driveshafts round out the 2021 drivetrain package. Other features include an updated aluminium motor mount for easier pinion gear access, reinforced servo saver ports improve steering precision and a revised rear shock tower allows the attachment from both sides of the gearbox. The kit will hit stores very soon.

The motor mount also features integrated belt tensioning for reduced belt skip and increased drivetrain longevity. The new mirrored front and rear upper decks allow for independent flex adjustment while brand-new front, centre and rear belt pulleys provide a centralised transmission system for increased stability and handling of the R12. An optional 3.5mm wide belt is available separately for the ultimate in durability even when running the most powerful modified motors.
