Carisma Racing CRF-GT Pagani Zonda R 1/10th pan car

Carisma have introduced their new Carisma Racing CRF-GT Pagani Zonda R 1/10th scale 2WD Performance pan car kit that is limited to 500 pieces world wide. The CRF-GT is based on the new Carisma Racing CRF platform, an innovative 2WD race chassis that features the same geometry and tuning options of its chassis-only CRF kit sibling. The only noticeable differences are the addition of a front bumper and the design of the battery hold down mechanism. Each chassis will come laser-engraved with its edition number making this not only a fun and iconic Supercar to own, but also a collectible snapshot of automotive history. The body is made under license from Horacio Pagani S.P.A., Italy, and it is meant to be the most realistic body shell in the history of Carisma Racing. The body panels are screen-printed to replicate the original car’s Dry Carbon look and this finish is only available with this Limited Edition kit. To complete the realism and photo realistic look, injection-moulded accessories are used to further enhance the detail and replicate items like wing mirrors, spoilers and all of the aerodynamic aids of the full-scale car. The kit includes the chassis and body shell and requires wheels, tyres, electronics, and paint.

Blaze RC DK4 1/9 4WD Desert Rally vehicle

Blaze RC have introduced their new DK4 1/9th scale 4WD Desert Rally pre-assembled chassis kit. The car utilises professional-grade parts with the plastics being made by Xray and many of the drivetrain components being machined using S2-grade spring steel material. The 4WD vehicle features a fully adjustable suspension with threaded aluminium body bleeder cap shock absorbers, left/right turnbuckles and it makes use of a 3-diff drivetrain for exceptional traction in a variety of track conditions. The weight balance is adjustable by using a centre-front of centre-rear motor setup and aluminium suspension mounts as well as carbon fibre chassis parts and shock towers round out the package. Included in the rolling chassis kit are also large diameter block tread tyres on black multi-spoke rims and the kit is complete with a Desert Rally truck body shell as well as an optional buggy lid that allows to easily convert the truck into a race-inspired performance buggy.

Coelho & Hagberg explain the all-new Xray T4 2020

Xray’s all-new T4 2020 electric touring car kit hit stores this week and since the 2020 variant of the IFMAR World Championship winning T4 platform is a whole new design, Xray have stitched together an informative video featuring IFMAR World Champions Bruno Coelho and Alexander Hagberg who dig deep to explain the car’s main features.

Xray XB2 2020 2WD buggy kits

Following a series of teasers and insights on social media, Xray have finally introduced their all-new XB2 2020 2WD buggy kits. The popular buggy received a major make-over for the 2020 season with virtually no area being left untouched, be it the chassis, suspension or drivetrain. Two kits are available, the Carpet edition for high traction surfaces and the Dirt edition car for low grip conditions, with both sporting specific features in the drivetrain, suspension and weight balance area in order to maximise the cars’ performance in the given conditions. Willspeed RF2 B6.1 conversion kit

Following on from the success of their 5-gear super laydown RF2 conversion based upon the Xray XB2 buggy, Willspeed have announced the release of a conversion platform for the popular Team Associated B6.1. The car builds on an aircraft-grade billet aluminium tub style chassis for the ultimate in lightweight, low COG, integral strength, single piece no tweak design. The signature ultra low profile aircraft-grade aluminium 5-gear transmission housing makes for optimised weight distribution with lowered idlers, lowered layshaft and unique no tower “A” frame design, for a hugely lowering COG. Other features include an aluminium low centre of gravity motor mount design, an aluminium shock tower with internal undercut keyway which interlocks with transmission housing for super solid tower mounting an the race ready car with full size shorty LiPo, full size servo and Schumacher tyres weighs in at approximately 1495g. With prototype cars excelling since their debut the B6.1 conversion will be up for grabs very soon.

Axial Capra 1.9 Unlimited RTR trail buggy

Horizon Hobby have announced the soon release of the new Axial Capra 1.9 Unlimited ready-to-run trail buggy. It builds on the Capra 1.9 Unlimited Builders Kit and is a “new from the ground up” design. Its Currie F9 portal axles provide extra ground clearance at the diff pumpkin for the best crawling performance. With the included Spektrum STX3 3-channel transmitter and DIG transmission, drivers can also switch on the fly between 4WD and FWD — locking the rear axle whenever in need of the tighter turning radius of front drive power. The Capra features a realistic tube chassis design and metal gears everywhere, from the centre transmission to the lockers and portal axles. It rides on real-world inspired Nitto Trail Grappler 1.9 tyres mounted to licensed Raceline 3-piece moulded beadlock wheels. The truck comes factory assembled and including a 540-size 35T brushed motor and Dynamite AE-5L brushed ESC.

BMT 016 GT Evo 1/8th nitro GT kit

BMT from Italy have introduced their new 016 GT Evo 1/8th scale nitro GT chassis kit. The car is based on the proven 016 GT and features refinements such as a new flex chassis, the Evo rear end conversion that as previously only available separately, it come with new short big bore shock absorbers as well as new shock stays and a redesigned front bulkhead brace. The parts will improve the car’s overall balance and performance and the kit is available from now on.

VBC Racing Lightning10X235 235mm Pro10 kit

VBC Racing have introduced their new Lightning10X235 235mm Pro10 pan car chassis kit. The latest evolution of the popular Lightning10 platform received updates in the front suspension and chassis area while several upgrades ensure improved durability. The front end is equipped with an industry-first fully adjustable 7075-T6 Active Lower Caster system for optimised steering response while the 7075-T6 aluminium main chassis and rear lower pod plate with machined silver edge details increased handling precision. A heat-treated, hardened rear axle shaft ensures true running and exceptional durability even when using high powered modified motors. Other features include the possibility to run bellcrank or direct steering setups, inline or transverse battery positions, wheelbase and track width adjustments as well as a wide range of tube damper, side link and side spring position adjustments to fine-tune the car’s behaviour. The kit is shipping now and should hit stores very soon.
