Hiro Factory HRF10X-PB Premium Blacky formula kit

Japanese brand Hiro Factory has introduced the new HRF10X-PB Premium Blacky 1/10th formula kit. The car builds on a premium hard carbon fibre main chassis plate and it features the newly developed C-ADJ-S camber and caster system up front that allows to adjust both parameters without the need to change parts, making it swift, easy and reliable. The aluminium servo mount doubles as a chassis stiffener brace and two aluminium triangles enable the racer to adjust the front-centre chassis stiffness. The steering arm design allows to adjust the steering Ackermann to vary the amount of steering available and an O-ring retained battery mount ensures the battery can be swapped without the need for additional tools. Other features include a high-capacity centre shock absorber, all-aluminium precision tube dampers as well as an aluminium ADJ roll plate to adjust overall chassis roll. The rear of the car houses the carbon fibre rear axle, and the ball differential with centre lock type left wheel hub and lightweight right wheel hub. A motor cooling fan mount and height adjustable wing mount round out the package. The car is usable with rubber and foam tyres and it can be built in narrow or wide track specification.

ARC R11F FWD touring car kit

ARC have announced the soon release of their forthcoming new R11F front-wheel driven 1/10th scale touring car kit. A first for the company, the car builds on the proven R11 2019 4WD touring car, sharing over 95 percent of the parts which makes parts storage easy when running both classes. The car utilises a 2.25mm carbon fibre main chassis combined with a 2.0mm upper deck, while an optional 1.6mm carbon or an aluminium upper deck allow to fine-tune the chassis’ torsional flex characteristics. The upper decks of the R11F and the R11 2019 are similar, further helping to minimise parts needed to run both cars alongside. On the transmission side of things the R11F features a belt-driven drivetrain with an oil-filled gear differential while the battery compartment allows for five different configurations such as side and cross alignment standard packs, side or cross alignment shorty batteries and also an inline/centre placement of shorty battery packs. The kit is shipping now and should hit stores very soon.

Serpent Cobra SRX8 GTE 1/8th electric on-road kit

Serpent have announced the release of their new Cobra SRX8 GT 1/8th electric on-road kit for the growing 1/8th scale GT class. The car is based off of the SRX8-GT and was optimised to offer the lowest possible centre of gravity while allowing for lots of ground clearance for cornering, ensuring smooth driving characteristics and the highest possible cornering speed. The core of the car is a 7075-T6 aluminium chassis that utilises the minimum possible kick-up angle to comply with ROAR and IFMAR rules while aluminium suspension mounts ensure very wide caster angle, toe and anti-squat adjustments. Additional roll centre shims further increase the setting range while black and silver all-aluminium bulkheads, centre diff mounts, motor mount and motor plate create a very sturdy chassis backbone. The overall design enables the racer to extract the front and rear differentials as well as the centre spool in a matter of seconds while allowing for four different differential height positions.
