MST FXX 2.0 KMW drift car kit – Coming soon

MST have released a couple of teaser images of their forthcoming new FXX 2.0 KMW RWD drift car kit. Equipped with a front motor/rear battery design the car utilises a 3.5mm carbon fibre chassis that shifts the weight bias more towards the rear for improved traction while the new aluminium front motor mount houses the updated upper and lower alloy front arms. A new steering and revised Ackermann geometry allows for greatly increased steering angles and the rear alloy MB suspension with adjustable reactive toe enables the owner to fine-tune increase or decrease the rear slip force. Xray X12’20 – EU & US editions

Xray have announced the release of the follow up to their World Championship winning 1/12th scale chassis, the X12’20. Available in two different versions, dubbed the EU and US versions, the latter featuring aluminium in place of much of the carbon for super high traction conditions found stateside. The new car sports a new backbone with a redesigned narrower chassis plate, which minimises contact with the track surface during cornering. This redesign has meant the Slovakian manufacturer has had to design their all-new side link mounting system via aluminium and graphite holders. Other changes include the removable front suspension brace that allows steering response adjustment while updated centre shock absorber holders update the mounting positions and geometry to improve on-power steering. Up front the new servo holders have extra mounting positions for smaller servos, while the kit comes supplied with graphite composite front upper arms to increase steering response. A lighter pod brace holder from graphite composite material helps increase consistency and to resist flexing and the new graphite backstop for the battery pack allows for multiple mounting positions for the battery in the cross-chassis alignment.

Team Associated introduce NanoSport

New from Team Associated is an all new concept which they call the NanoSport. Consider the game Rocket League, were the purpose is to score goals using a car, but then in real life and you have NanoSport. The package consists of 2 cars, 2 radios, batteries, chargers and the ball or puck to play with. The cars are scaled at 1/32th and feature a body shell that is shaped at the front and rear to allow the user to somewhat control and drive said ball or puck into a goal. Very reasonably priced, the focus is on fun and by including two in the package it ensures that it will be. This would make a nice gift for the holiday season and could be a great stepping stone to get more kids into RC.
