Team Magic Seth 1/8th RTR desert truck

Following various teasers on social media Team Magic have finally unveiled their new Seth 1/8th ready-to-run desert truck. The 4-wheel drive truck is powered by a 150A waterproof electronic speed controller combined with a 6S LiPo-compatible 2200kV high-speed brushless motor. A 15kg Savöx steering servo supplies strong steering control and all electronic components are splash waterproof. The chassis is made of 4mm strong ultra lightweight aluminium and three differentials equipped with CNC-machined bevel gears supply the power to every wheel. Aluminium shock towers and rear stiffener reduce the chassis tweak as included anti-roll bars make for less chassis roll and adjustable rods for an easy setup. ARC R8.2 1/8th nitro on-road kit

ARC have released first details of their forthcoming R8.2 1/8th nitro on-road kit. The car is based on the successful R8.1 and features an all new 2-speed adapter that is 4g lighter than the previous part to reduce weight and increase drivetrain efficiency. An all-new rear suspension block moves the suspension pins and thus lower arms 3.5mm towards the centre, creating more side bite and stability while longer arms retain a proper geometry. The arms are optionally available in hard, standard or soft compound to adapt the suspension to all requirements and track conditions. Also new with the R8.2 is a chassis weight adjustment system that allows to change the weight bias in a wide range by using adjustable weights or braces. Another area that received a make over is the upper deck that now incorporates a laydown throttle servo, not only to lower the overall centre of gravity but also to help equalise chassis flex and optimise weight distribution left to right. ARC will also release an electric 4S LiPo conversion kit for the use with shorty batteries, allowing to run the car both in nitro or electric specification.
