Losi 22S Kicker & Magnaflow RTR SC trucks

Losi have introduced two new body shell design variants of their 22S 1/10th 2WD ready-to-run short course truck. The Losi 22S SCT RTR is the perfect vehicle for new RC enthusiasts looking to capture the thrills of big air, blazing speeds, and responsive cornering. Based on the Team Losi Racing 22 race platform, the 22S SCT features all the fun and performance of its predecessors making it the perfect Ready-to-Run vehicle to not only maximise performance bashing in the backyard, street or park, but to be the perfect entry level race truck for your local R/C race track. The Losi engineering team applied the race-proven suspension geometry of the TLR 22SCT to the 22S SCT, giving it the handling ability needed to maximise performance everywhere. The powerful Dynamite 12T 550 brushed motor provides great torque and top speed that will keep drivers coming back for more. With officially-licensed Magnaflow and Kicker Audio trim schemes, the 22S SCT looks the part while it’s tearing up the terrain or crossing the finish line. Designed to be user-friendly, the electronics are hard mounted and the battery is loaded through the bottom of the chassis to help create a hassle-free user experience. Additionally, several Team Losi Racing 22 platform performance parts are available to upgrade the vehicles performance and style.

Usukani D3T 1/8th drift trike chassis kit

Usukani, known for their innovative RWD drift car chassis kits, have introduced their new 1/8th scale D3T drift trike kit. The 3-wheel chassis features a 3-gear transmission, independent rear suspension with shock absorbers, a 2-spring front fork system with adjustable angle and dual-spring steering buffer as well as full ball bearings, a metal spur gear adapter and white wheels with drift tyres. The kit is rounded out by a polycarbonate body shell.

BMT 801 Pro series GP & EP buggies

BMT have introduced their new 801 Pro nitro and 801EP Pro electric buggy kits. Both build on a hard anodised 7075 aluminium chassis for strength and they utilise sturdy drivetrain components including front and rear CV-design driveshafts, steel gears, and the GP car also uses Ferodo-clad brake pads in order to provide fading-free stopping performance. The suspension areas of both the nitro and electric-powered buggy are made up using long travel suspension components with the A-arms being reinforced by detachable carbon fibre plates, the shock absorbers are of a 17mm diameter big bore design for exceptional damping and the front and rear shock towers are made up of 4mm/3mm machined aluminium. Front and rear anti-roll bars round out the suspension package. Dust-proof RC boxes ensure the receiver and receiver battery stay away from the elements and while the EP car comes including a spacious battery compartment, the GP car includes a competition clutch system and air filter. Included with the unassembled kits also come clear body shells.

Capricorn C803 EP Race Evo 1/8th electric kit

Coming from Capricorn is their new C803 EP Race Evo 1/8th electric on-road kit. Built to meet EFRA GP and Campionato Costruttori rules, the car is based off of the nitro-powered C803 Evo and it was designed to utilise either two 3S or two 2S square-type LiPo battery packs for a race-ready weight of around 2400g and the ability to run the kit in either 6S or 4S configuration. The car features a carbon fibre double deck construction for a low weight, a lightweight aluminium motor mount for industry-standard 1/8th brushless motors as well as a single gear gearbox, fully adjustable suspension and an adjustable carbon fibre battery mount.

ECX Temper 1/18 4WD Gen2 RTR crawler

ECX’s new 1/18 scale Temper Gen2 4WD rock crawler is built to tackle any environment. This new and improved version builds upon the original Temper’s reputation and it sports a stylish and aggressive look with matching wheel rings, plus hidden compartment for the battery tray. The LED light bar keeps the fun going even after the sun goes down. A true 4-link suspension with improved articulation and strength is a substantial upgrade, while the larger servo mount and aluminium steering links allow for bigger servos to handle a higher power output. Designed for the consumer looking to join the scale movement, this crawler has everything needed to attack any terrain. Its high torque 380-size 32T brushed motor and waterproof electronics make hitting the trail easy. Xpress Execute XM1 M-class 4WD touring car

Xpress have introduced their new Execute XM1 M-class 1/10th scale 4WD competition touring car kit. Based off of the XM1S entry/club-level kit, the XM1 features some competition-grade updates such as a carbon fibre double deck chassis for improved handling in high-bite track conditions as well as slotted shock towers for perfect alignment and titanium turnbuckles for a low weight. Other features include single-piece aluminium bulkheads, aluminium suspension mounts, an aluminium front spool, a rear gear differential as well as front and rear anti-roll bars, double joint CV-style front driveshafts and a ball-raced steering rack. The kit is rounded out by big bore aluminium shock absorbers.

Yokomo YZ-2DTM2 Stock Spec 2WD buggy kit

Coming in January 2019 is Yokomo’s new YZ-2DTM2 Stock Spec 1/10th scale 2WD buggy kit. Based on the successful YZ-2DTM2 the Stock Spec version includes some handy stock motor class specific option parts such as the MIP Pucks drive system, MIP Pucks Bi-metal driveshafts, as well as a direct drive spur gear hub and top shaft. The Pucks drive system and dog bones will ensure a lightweight yet durable drivetrain while the direct drive slipper eliminator reduces the drivetrain’s rotational mass for quicker spool-up, faster acceleration and less motor heat. The kit will hit stores in January.
