Traxxas Slash 4×4 550 Titan RTR short course truck

Traxxas have introduced their new Slash 4×4 short course truck with Titan 12T 550 motor and XL-5 speed controller. The new truck combines the best elements of the hardcore Slash 4X4 VXL with the more affordable Titan 12T 550 brushed motor and the waterproof XL-5 electronic speed control. The chassis is equipped with a slipper clutch with 32 pitch gears, fluid-filled front and fear differentials as well as large volume shock absorbers. Other features include the TQ 2.4GHz radio system, a 4A DC peak detecting fast chargers and a Traxxas Power Cell 7-cell NiMH battery. The truck is rounded out by a pre-decorated body shell, available in two colour schemes, and matching wheels.

Infinity IF11 1/10th Formula car kit

Following months of extensive development and testing, Creation Model have announced the official release of the IF11 1/10th formula car. The latest addition to the Japanese company’s growing range of kit offerings, that now covers four different categories, the car’s hybrid monocoque chassis resembles that of a full-size racing car. This distinctive feature will have a huge appeal to Formula enthusiasts but the design goes much further than being just an aesthetic feature. The IF11 boasts rigidity, strength and tuning flexibility to provide an excellent racing car. Kingpin, coil-spring front suspension and side link 3P rear suspension contribute to superb handling and high traction. Roche Rapide P10W Evo 235mm Pro10 pan car kit

Following a first teaser image Roche have released more details on their new Rapide P10W Evo 235mmm Pro10 pan car kit. The car utilises a new 3.0mm high-grade carbon fibre main chassis and lower pod plate and it features a new graphite front bumper, a new design 7075 aluminium front suspension plate as well as a new floating design carbon fibre servo mount. Included in the kit are also new black anodised steering turnbuckles, a new 7075 aluminium top plate with quick centre shock adjustment features as well as a new DVS-V2 centre big bore shock. Other updates include a are graphite top plate and 1-piece chassis brace, long side links and a new centre pivot brace as well as a redesigned alloy motor pod and rear pod plate. A new dual-screw clamping wheel hub rounds out the package.

Redcat Racing Dukono 1/10th RTR trucks

Coming soon from Redcat Racing are the Dukono and Pro 1/10th scale ready-to-run monster trucks. The vehicle features an all-new high clearance chassis that gives the truck a softer feel, without compromising handling, and allows the driver to take the Dukono almost anywhere. The truck is ready to run right out of the box and includes waterproof electronics and while the Pro includes a brushless speed controller and motor the standard truck comes equipped with a 550-class brushed motor. Both versions come equipped with four threaded oil filled shocks and ride on a set of extremely aggressive monster truck tyres.

Redcat Racing Camo TT & X4 PR RTR kits

As part of their new Summer 2018 line-up Redcat Racing have introduced the Camo TT trophy truck and Camo X4 rock racer 1/10th scale RTR vehicles. The Camo line utilises a new chassis design that offers the realistic driving characteristics of a full sized desert racer thanks to its 4-link suspended, solid rear axle and independent front suspension for a true desert and rock racing experience. The Camo TT and X4 are ready to run once owners supply the required batteries and charger and they are 2S LiPo-ready. The Camo was designed to be an all around great performer, as well as a stunning display piece while not in use. The TT’s realistic cockpit seats a driver and navigator, strapped in safely, with the spare tire captured inside the realistic roll-cage directly behind them. The scale body design allows the roll-cage to be seen as the Camo TT screams across the desert terrain while the X4 sports a full roll cage, and a detailed cockpit with scale driver and navigator. Additional scale details, like the fire extinguisher, round off the X4’s scale appearance. The aggressive off-road tyres grip the toughest terrain, and look awesome doing it. The unique horizontal tread design work well on both loose and hard surfaces alike. Both vehicles will hit stores this August.

Redcat Racing Rampage R5 1/5th monster truck

Redcat Racing have announced the release of the new Rampage R5, 1/5 scale brushless monster truck. The vehicle comes fully equipped with an 8S-ready power system and its new chassis design gives the R5 more clearance when driving over obstacles like logs, rocks, and other RC cars. The truck offers nimble handling characteristics and it is ready to run right out of the box, owners just need to add a 6S to 8S LiPo battery and charger. The R5 includes Redcat’s new large scale high clearance chassis, waterproof electronics, powerful brushless ESC and motor, and a 2.4GHz radio system as well as oil-illed threaded shocks and it rides on a set of aggressive off-road tiyres. The powerful brushless motor blasts this high clearance monster truck through rough terrain with ease.

PR Racing SB401-R 1/10 4WD buggy kit

Following a first teaser image PR Racing have released first information on their new SB401-R 1/10th scale 4WD competition buggy kit. A number of key components have underwent a redesign to create a faster, quieter and easier to maintain and tune platform while also greatly improving overall performance. The main focus has been set on the all-new narrow 2mm 7075-T6 aluminium chassis and composite side-pods, which utilise a carbon fibre re-enforced spine to control torsional and longitudinal flex. The additional flex has proved to increase grip, and make the car feel more balanced and easier to drive leading to faster, more consistent laps. Other features include new stronger and quieter transmission gears, a vented slipper assembly as well as 12.75mm diameter Type-R shock absorbers, new shorter and grey-coloured ball cups as well as new high-tensile steel turnbuckles. All that is topped off by an ultra low centre of gravity body shell. The kit is set for a release this Fall.

PR Racing SB401 Type R – Teaser image

PR Racing have released a first of what is expected to be their forthcoming SB401 Type R 1/10th 4WD buggy. The vehicle will add to PR Racing’s line of Type R competition kits and is understood to come with a range of high-performance features right out of the box.
