Tamiya release new TA07MS teaser image

Tamiya are step by step uncovering their forthcoming TA07MS 4WD touring car. Following a first teaser the Japanese company has unveiled a rendering that shows more details of the single belt competition touring car that looks to combine design aspects – read: the suspension and bulkhead design – of the TRF419 series with a vertical top deck spanning from the front to the rear bulkhead, and a single belt that connects the front spool and rear gear differential. A prototype of the car was used by TRF’s Kiyokazu Suzuki at the recent JMRCA Touring Car Nationals with Kiyokazu eventually finishing on a promising 11th overall position.

Corally SSX-8X 1/8th Stock pan car kit – Teaser image

Corally have released a first teaser image of their forthcoming SSX-8X 1/8th scale electric pan car kit. Designed for the damper-less 1/8th electric Stock classes the kit builds on the SSX-8 with several updates making the car faster and better handling in a variety of track conditions. The kit is set for a release at the beginning of August and full information should become available soon.

Carisma Scale Adventure 1976 Ford F-150 LWB truck

Coming soon from Carisma Scale Adventure is their new 1976 Ford F-150 SCA-1E LWB truck. The rig builds on the chassis introduced with the SCA-1E Coyote but it sports a longer 324mm wheelbase as well as a new forward-bias battery mount position for improved crawling capability. Other features include a chassis-mounted steering servo for added scale realism and symmetrical 1.9 true beadlock wheels with soft compound 110mm all-terrain scale tyres. The truck comes with an ARC-1 speed controller with refined throttle control for smoothness and the vehicle is decked out with an officially-licensed Ford F-150 body shell.

Fenix 1960’s style Formula car kit – Coming soon

Fenix have released a first teaser image of their forthcoming 1960’s style Formula car kit. No other information than the image above are available now but by the look of things the car will utilise standard Formula rubber tyres and wheels and it is decked out with a nostalgic Formula body shell for a very unique look. The release is planned for September and more information should become available soon.

Kyosho Ultima RB7 1/10th 2WD off-road buggy kit

Kyosho have released first information and images of their forthcoming Ultima RB7 1/10th 2WD buggy kit. The buggy builds on a newly developed 7075 aluminium chassis that is 4mm shorter than the previous RB6 main plate for improved cornering and optimised flex characteristics. Also new is the front suspension with gullwing-type front arms for more accurate damping while improved front knuckles and hubs with updated Ackermann locations and reinforcements ensure a proper front end geometry and better durability. Multi-configuration arms with bushings for long and short settings can be found on the rear as can be alloy rear suspension mounts. Other features include a lowered carbon-reinforced front shock stay, a new wing mount, an updated centre mount as well as shorter spring cups for high-grip surfaces that require the running of very low ride heights while plastic shock caps help to settle the buggy on bumpy surfaces. Last but not least are ring-captured universal swing shafts, and a newly-designed body shell and wing.

GL Racing GLA V2 micro racing car

Coming from GL Racing is their new GLA V2 micro racing car kit. Fitting 1/27th and 1/28th scale classes the GLA V2 builds on the popular V1 and features a re-designed layout of the bottom chassis plate that now has all holes and screws located along the centre line of chassis which will reduce tweak and maximise flex. Also new are the redesigned servo and battery mount to fit the new chassis, while wider rear lower suspension arms and camber links to improve the rear stability of the car by changing the suspension geometry. A newly designed motor mount makes gear mesh adjustment more easy and precise and included with the car also come a servo saver as well as front and rear carbon shock towers. Other features include the efficient Hobbywing micro brushless ESC, a fast and durable servo, four-wheel double arm suspension system with friction grease dampers, as well as a smooth shaft driven transmission and ASC compatibility. Coming soon is also a 90mm and 94mm wheelbase conversion kit.

No other information than the image above is available yet but the fully-blown race variant of Tamiya’s intermediate-level single-belt touring car is set for a first public appearance at the forthcoming JMRCA All-Japan Touring Car Nationals.
