Speed Power A8 Pro & A6 chargers

Following on from the release of their A3 and B1 chargers, Speed Power have released the latest additions to the Esprit line, the A6 and A8 Pro. The A8 Pro balance charger and discharger is another DC powered unit wit a maximum charge power of 80W, 10W for discharge. The current ranges are from 0.1 to 6.0A for charging and 0.1 to 2.0A for discharging and it can handle up to 15 NiMh cells and 6 lithium cells. The A6, also a DC charger and discharger, has a max charge power of 50W and a discharge power of 5W, while the charge current is from 0.1 o 5.0A and 0.1 to 1.0A for discharge. Both chargers feature a 2 line LCD display and an easy to navigate functions menu.

Speed Power Esprit range of chargers

Speed Power have released their new Esprit series of chargers. First up is the DC A2 Lithium battery balance charger that has a charge current of 0.1 to 3.5A and can handle up to 4 cells. Capable of charging LiPo, LiIon and LiFe batteries, it has a simple operation with information being shown on the LCD display which includes voltage, current, capacity, charging time and battery type. Speed Power also offer the B1 basic charger which takes AC power and has a max charging current of 3 x 650mA and can handle up to 3 cells. You can check out these new Speed Power products along with the Speed Passion and East Coast ranges at this weekend’s iHobby show in Rosemont Illinois at booth 1908.

Team Orion Advantage TwinSpec charger

The new Team Orion Advantage TwinSpec charger features the Advanced Twin Charge System which allows the simultaneous charge or discharge of two batteries with currents of up to 20A. With two individual channels which can be setup and used independently one from another, it means that you can charge a LiPo battery on one channel and a NiMH battery on the other. You can also charge a battery on one channel and discharge another battery on the other channel, all at the same time. During use you can easily switch from one channel to another, just by pressing a key.

Much More Hybrid charger goes purple

Much More have announced that they will release their Hybrid balance charger and discharger in purple. It joins the standard black, blue and grey and is expect to become available in late October.

Yokomo YZ-114SPB charger & discharger

Yokomo have released the YZ-114SPB, a performance fast charger and discharger. Able to charge the usual range of batteries including LiPo and LiFe, you can monitor the balance of the pack by checking the voltage in each cell through the now built in balancer port. It can be run on DC12V or AC100V, is supplied with all the cables you will need including the temp sensor and comes in the standard silver version of trick looking carbon version.

Peak Racing PowerPro Charger

Peak Racing have announced the release of their new PowerPro Charger. Whether your charging LiPo, LiFe or LiMa or even NiMH or NiCd this charger has got you covered and will keep your cells in proper order cycle after cycle. Charging at up to a maximum of 6A with up to 6 cell NiMh/NiCd and 2 cell LiPo/LiFe, it can handle just 4A for 7-10 cell NiMh/NiCd and 3-4 cell LiPo/LiFe. Discharging current is between 0.1A-1A and it has an adjustable discharge voltage cut off.
