Hobbywing Xerun XR10 Pro & Pro-Elite G2S ESC

Hobbywing have released their new Xerun XR10 Pro G2S and Pro-Elite G2S speed controllers. The Pro G2S sports Hobbywing’s patented frameless fan design with the Pro Elite version utilising the standard top mounted fan. The G2S sports a high-performance 32-bit M4 microprocessor which greatly improves processing capability and allow the ESC to have a very rapid response and the potential to optimise and extend its functions. The Throttle and Brake PWM Frequency support the ability to customise the frequency of each throttle segments. For example, the variables on the frequency are fully adjustable for precise control to meet the requirements of different driver need. The parameters are optimised for top-level competition applications, including new AC line switching, initial start-up force adjustment, drag acceleration adjustment, etc.

Surpass Hobby Rocket Supersonic power combo set

Surpass Hobby have introduced their new Rocket Supersonic power combo set. Featuring the new Rocket Supersonic motor which has a built-in temperature sensor and external sensor port, which combined with the Supersonic ESC creates a stronger protection against the motor overheating. In order to create a high-efficiency motor, the Surpass team repeatedly tested the design and settled on the use of an independent special mould for the Surpass stator using 0.2mm imported silicon steel sheet and the use of a super large diameter rotor (ø18.7mm) for extreme power. In addition, a professional manually wound vortex creates an extremely low internal resistance.

Dash RC AI Pro V2 ESC in red & purple

New from Dash RC is the AI Pro V2 brushless speed controller available in red and purple colour variant. Utilising State-of-the-Art 32bits micro-controllers, and a robust software, the ESC delivers the most technologically advanced features to date. The V2 ESC features an electrolytic two-step anodising heatsink case, improving heat dissipation. Development of the V2 was focused on smooth power delivery needed for drift as well as supreme power efficiency. Other features include a high-voltage 30mm turbo fan, adjustable 6V to 7V high-voltage BEC system as well as an interchangeable A-B-C configurations.

Surpass Rocket 540 Plus V2 combo

Surpass have introduced the V2 version of their Rocket 540 Plus 4-pole brushed crawler motor. The power plant features a 5-slot 775-sized rotor for improved low-speed linearity and increased low-speed torque and it makes use of high-strength and high-temperature resistant neodymium iron boron magnets. Compared with its predecessor, performance has been improved with lower internal resistance along using optimised magnets resulting in reduced heat build up making the whole unit more efficient. The motor is available in four different winding variants including 11T, 13T, 16T, and 20T. The combined 80A speed controller has also been updated, the V2 version having much improved throttle feel and the internal resistance of the MOS tube has been reduced, again for reduced heat and improved efficiency.

Ruddog Racing RXS brushless speed controller

Ruddog Racing proudly presents the RXS brushless controller. The state-of-the-art ESC is the result of more than two years of development and testing. Packaged in a black-anodised all-aluminium case, a 32 bit processor and the latest FET technology provide an ideal basis for punchy and smooth power delivery, and a strong but sensitive brake function. Thanks to its integrated power button and an exchangeable receiver cable, clean and tidy installation is easier than ever before. In addition to the included fan, the aluminium case and low-resistance solder posts also improve heat dissipation. Settings can be adjusted with the optional program card to tailor the RXS to various track conditions and driving styles, both in highly competitive modified and stock racing.

Hobbywing XeRun XD10 Pro ESC

Hobbywing have introduced their first drift specific speed controller, the XeRun XD10 Pro. Available in black, red and purple, they match a large majority of the drift chassis colour ways on the market. The 32-bit M4 processor is equipped with powerful software, features new programmable parameters and it is optimised for drift applications. The new parameters such as, initial start-up force adjustment, 48K ultra-high drive frequency, and 24K ultra-high brake frequency ensures excellent drivability. It is tailored to extract and maximise performance for high-end drifters. The stylish aluminium fan is powerful and helps to massively cool down the ESC, while the ultra-soft 13AWG silicone wire is ultra-flexible and low in resistance. The built-in BEC is able to support both high torque and high voltage servos and can be adjustable at 5.0-7.4V (adjusted to 0.1V/step).

Maclan M32e Pro 200 ESC & MR8.4 series motor

Maclan Racing have introduced their new M32e Pro 200 Competition 1/8th ESC and all-new MR8.4 series motor for 1/8th competition applications. The M32e Pro 200 is purpose-built for the 1/8th scale eBuggy and eTruggy applications with upgraded internal components ensuring the operating temperature is lower than its predecessor. With silicon coating on the circuit boards, the M32e also offers better durability for the 1/8th scale competition environment. It utilises a full aluminium case that ensures maximum thermal dissipation and extreme durability and the 30mm HV turbo ESC fan provides that extra insurance to cool down the ESC in extreme ambient conditions. The super-switch-mode BEC is designed to handle true HV for all types of servos from 6V to 8.4V.
