Muchmore Cell Master Specter charger & discharge bank

More new items from Muchmore who have released their new Cell Master Specter charger and optional discharge bank. The charger features a 4.3″ IPS touch display with a new menu structure designed to be easy to use for all skill levels with the display showing the battery condition very accurately with clear colour and fast response. A real time battery IR view allows you to check your battery condition quickly and easily with the battery resistance monitoring feature. It’s designed for LiPo and LiHV cells and includes an optimal cycle mode to maintain your batteries and guarantee the most power. The Specter cycle mode for stock racers supports 3 cycling functions which lowers the internal resistance to create more performance. This unit now supports 40A charging and, with the optional discharge bank, 40A discharging up to 350W. The discharge bank adds the additional 20A to the discharge performance of the charger, which by itself is 20A. Featuring a full aluminium case, it aids in dispersing the internal heat build up to improve efficiency and user protection. It also sports a status LED which makes it easy to check the current working status of the unit.

GForce GD250 stand alone discharger

GForce from Japan have introduced their new GD250 stand alone discharger for 2S to 8S LiPo and 2-cell to 30-cell NiMH battery packs. With its 250W power circuitry it allows for up to 35A of discharge current with a 2S LiPo or LiHV battery pack, enough to swiftly discharge a fully charged battery down to storage voltage or to check a pack’s condition under heavier loads that the discharge function of a charger can supply. A display allows to monitor voltage, current and capacity in real time. The discharger can be coupled with a Windows PC and by using GForce’s GF Batt Manager software more details can be obtained from the discharge process – however the software is only available in Japanese language as of yet.

CS-Electronic Competition Power Discharger 200W

CS-Electronic from Germany have introduced their new 200W Competition Power Discharger device for the use in combination with the recently announced Space X3-Competition Duo charger. The discharger allows for discharge currents of up to 16A while offering balance discharging and single cell voltage monitoring, ensuring safe and secure discharging using high currents. The results will help to identify weak packs but the discharger also allows to bring fully charged packs to storage voltage a lot faster than just using the charger’s discharge function.
