Trinity introduce new modified class rotors

Trinity have introduced two new modified class rotors for their XFactor, Monster, 24K, D4 and Killshot range motors. Available as silver-marked 12.3×25.5 RPM and pink-marked 12.5×25.5 torque variant, both Neo rare earth rotors come nickel-plated and marked for easy identification. The rotors are recommended for off-road and oval racing with the pink torque rotor being the preferred pick of Trinity’s Dakotah Phend’s to fine-tune the Monster 7.0T motor of his 2WD Buggy ride.

Hobbywing XeRun V10 G3R brushless stock motor

Hobbywing have announced the release of their new XeRun V10 G3R electric brushless stock motor. Building on the proven V10 G3 the “R” variant offers further enhanced performance thanks to a 13.3 percent increase in torque, a 6.5 percent increase in RPM and up to 8.6 percent of overall power gain. In addition the internal resistance could be lowered by 11 percent while efficiency was increased by 6 percent, resulting in greatly reduced operation temperatures. At 139g the motor is also very low of weight – thanks to a highly machined aluminium heat-sink design can – making chassis balance adjustments a lot easier. The ROAR and EFRA spec motor is available in 13.5T to 25.5T stock winding variants with the 13.5T to 21.5T motors utilising a 7-12.5×25.2 rotor with optional rotors being available to fine-tune the motors’ power characteristics.

Yeah Racing 1/8th electric motor heat sinks

Yeah Racing have introduced their new add-on heat sinks for 1/8th scale electric motors. Designed for the use with motors of 40.8mm diameter and 57.9mm of length, the multi-piece aluminium heat sink wraps around the motor, making for an increased surface and thus better heat dissipation. In addition up to two optional 30mm cooling fans can be mounted to further increase cooling capacity. 10mm stand offs allow to raise the fans which further improves cooling at the expense of a higher centre of gravity and less body clearance. The hear sinks are available in red, black or blue colour.

Motiv Launch 540 drag racing motor

Launch, a division of Motiv RC dedicated to competition drag racing, now brings the Launch 540 2.5T and 3.5T drag racing motors. The Launch 540 features a 3-phase beefy stator with thin insulators and low resistance winding, this results in proper power delivery through the stator. The 2-pole rotor is composed of the highest strength neodymium material available for great torque. The 13.0mm rotor is then drill balanced which ensures continued power delivery under high RPM down the drag strip. The red anodized can assembly is lightweight with adjustable timing from 0 to 60 degrees and provides plenty of air flow. The motor is designed, built and tuned in house for short speed runs and drag racing passes only.
