Dash RC R-Tune V2 modified brushless motor

Dash RC have introduced their new R-Tune V2 modified brushless motor. Designed to be lighter and faster than the previous model, the V2 variant features a high airflow arrow design with large openings in the machined aluminium can to guarantee maximum cooling efficiency, a lower weight and minimised power fading in high ambient temperatures. The redesigned stator helps to achieve a much lower internal resistance while offering increased torque which enhances the overall performance. The motor comes equipped with Japan-grade bearings for maximum efficiency and it is available in 3.5T to 8.5T specification for on-road and off-road applications.

EcoPower Sling Shot SLV 13.5T brushless motor

New from Amain Hobbies’ EcoPower brand is the Sling Shot SLV 13.5 Turn sensored brushless motor. The Sling Shot SLV bases in the standard Sling Shot series but improves on the original with a heavily vented, lightweight can to help reduce overall weight and improve heat dissipation. Also, the SLV has larger solder tabs to reduce resistance and help make it easier when soldering the wires on. Other features include a high torque 12.5mm sintered Neodymium rotor to deliver the torque needed for competitive 13.5 class racing. Fully adjustable timing lets drivers fine tune the power delivery to suit their driving style and track conditions, while dual sensor ports allow easy installation in a variety of chassis configurations.

Speedzone 13.5T tuned motor

Speedzone have introduced their new 13.5T tuned motor, a hopped-up variant of the standard version. The tuned motors feature a stricter tolerance sensor board, better asymmetry, rotor test, motor test, ceramic bearings, aluminium screws and they come with a motor readout.

Reedy Radon 2 5-slot brushed crawler motor

Team Associated have introduced crawler specific variants of their Rado 2 brushed motors. The Radon 2 Crawler motor’s 5-slot design delivers a smooth powerband for precision control while traversing steep, uneven, or rocky terrain. Dual ball-bearings improve performance and reliability while adjustable timing allows for adjustments to compensate for different drivetrain configurations that require reverse motor rotation. Performa P1 Radical 690 2100kV Modified motor

Performa Racing have announced the release of their P1 Radical 690 Modified 2100kV brushless motor for 1/8th buggies, SC trucks and on-road cars. The motor utilises a machined heatsink design aluminium can, advanced sensor technology, double-insulated winding wires as well as a precision-balanced rotor. The fully rebuildable motor is usable with all 1/8th scale brushless speed controllers and optional magnets and tuning parts allow to fine-tune its performance to personal needs.

Muchmore Fleta ZX V2 Spectre 25.5T brushless motor

Muchmore Racing have announced the release of their Fleta ZX V2 Spectre 25.5T outlaw brushless motor. Designed to produce maximum performance the motor is not ROAR or EFRA legal, however it can be used in so called “outlaw” classes that only restrict winding numbers. A patented rotor design along with a short stack equates to 35 percent more power compared to traditional stock motors while the overall design of the motor greatly reduces the internal resistance. The motor utilises a titanium shaft 12.3×5.0×24.2Z rotor, grade 5 ball bearings, and an aluminium lightweight end plate to further help with cooling.

Reedy Radon 2 brushed motors

Team Associated have introduced the new Reedy Radon 2 brushed motors as a replacement for the hugely popular Radon series. Added features such as dual ball bearings and adjustable timing as well as a choice of three versions make the all-new Radon 2 a powerful, reliable, economical, and versatile choice for those who prefer brushed motor power. The Radon 2 is offered in the same 17-turn/3600kV version as the original; however, 15-turn/4100kV and 19-turn/3200kV versions are now available to suit a variety of applications and speed requirements.

Performa Racing P1 Radical 690 Modified motors

Coming from Performa Racing are their new P1 Radical Sensor System 690 Modified brushless motors for 1/8th scale applications. Designed to provide superior drivability and extreme power, the Radical Sensor System is composed of a separate magnetic ring featuring four magnets that ensure precise and accurate rotor position location, helping the controller to achieve smoother throttle control. The design also protects the sensor system from being disturbed by inappropriate signals. Compatible with all controllers the motors are suitable for 1/8 buggies, SCT trucks and on-road cars.
