Much More Racing introduce the Fleta ZX electric brushless motors. They feature a black anodised full aluminium case with large airflow openings, balanced sintered rotors with laser-etched diameter markings, and an easy to adjust timing system. LRP have released their new Dynamic 10 brushless motor line offering high-end motors in 540 and 550 size. The ultra lightweight, precision machined 7075-T6 aluminium housing has optimised cut-outs for best heat absorption and lowest running temperatures also at full power output. A special design with 4 magnets and 12 slots provides plenty of torque while the precision balanced rotor guarantees maximum radial run-out and rpm. The Dynamic 10 is available in 3800kv, 4800kv & 5800kv while the Dynamic 10L comes in 2400kv, 3700kv & 4700kv versions.

At the JConcepts Winter Indoor Nationals Reedy are debuting their new Sonic 540 Mach 2 motor. Small modifications were made to enhance performance, reliability and user-friendliness. A new alloy end cap replaces the plastic version to prevent accidental timing movement and to provide better bearing alignment. Strategically placed vent holes are now slightly smaller to reduce the chance of debris entering the motor while still maintaining excellent airflow. Internal changes include new bearing sizes to increase maximum RPM and to improve reliability as well as silver plated solder tabs to reduce power robbing resistance. The precision balanced high-strength sintered rotor remains the same as in the original model with a variety of optional rotors available to fine-tune for specific applications and tracks. New 6.0, 7.0, and 8.0 models are now available for greater fine-tuning for specific conditions.

Team Orion introduce the Vortex VST2 690-size brushless motors for 1/8th scale applications. The motor is designed from the ground up using the experience gained with the US national championship winning MR8 motors and features a dual sensor port design, CNC-machined heatsink aluminium case and 4-pole technology. Available as 1900kv, 2100kv and 2500kv variant the motor also sports durable low-resistance pre-shaped solder tabs, precision balanced rotor and high quality stator materials.

Some new items from Novak, the first of wich is the ultra low-resistance stator, available in three winds, 10.5T, 13.5T and 17.5T. These new stators are developed to provide maximum copper wire fill and give spec racers an edge over a standard motor. Each stator is hand-wound by Novak’s winding wizards in Irvine, California using the largest diameter, high-quality Novak Red Wire we can fit into the stator. This lowers the stator’s resistance, giving serious racers the lowest numbers possible, and the fastest speeds on the track. Novak also have a new 12.5mm high-torque neodymium tuning rotor. The 12.5mm rotor uses the same high-strength Neodymium material as the original Novak rotor with a larger diameter. It will increase the torque and improve the natural push brake and drag braking strength of the Ballistic, Club, and Velociti/SS Pro brushless motors.
