Vampire Type AB+ V2 motor

In Germany last weekend for the 2nd round of the EOS, series sponsor Vampire Racing showed us the pre production version of their new brushless competition motor, called the Type AB+ V2. The motor features a double balanced rotor, TIN coated magnet, black coated rotor shaft, better magnet material which can resist higher temperatures and a stronger can to absorb also the heaviest impacts. It also has a fully rebuildable and dis-mountable can, complying to EFRA and IFMAR rules and will be available in a range of winds when it becomes available in the coming weeks.

LRP iX8 updated version & Dynamic 8 motor

LRP introduce an updated version of the iX8 8th brushless speed controller and a 2000kv variant of the Dynamic 8 brushless motor. Starting with the controller the updated version comes with the latest V1.7 firmware and an improved BEC system with an output of 6V and 6A. The increased power output helps to feed even the most power-hungry digital steering servos and adds reliability. Also new is the 2000kv variant of LRP’s Dynamic 8 4-pole brushless motor. Designed to fit nearly all 1/8th electric vehicles the motor features a heatsink 7075-T6 aluminium can, optimised airflow for lower running temperatures and a sensored design.

Team Orion Neon 8 brushless system

New from Team Orion comes the Neon 8 brushless system containing the waterproof Vortex R8 WP 130A controller and the Neon 8 2100kv waterproof motor. The ESC offers a 6V/3A BEC system, selectable drive modes and is useable with motors of up to 6000kv while the Neon 8 4-pole motor is of a sensorless design making it ideal for bashers and racers alike. The set is also available with a standard non-waterproof Neon 8 2000kv motor.

Team Wave Eclipse brushless motors

After 18 months of development, Team Wave have announce their latest generation of brushless motor, Eclipse. The motor is equipped with a unique LED temperature visualizing system to provide instant temperature reading from inside the motor. A NTC temperature sensor is embedded to measure the core temperature and the reading is then presented through the differently colored LEDs distributed around the endbell. Available in winds from 3.5T to 21.5T.

TrakPower MS sensored brushless system

TrakPower USA is proud to announce their new MS sensored brushless systems. Available are the MS-1 speed controller and MS series brushless motors. Designed for 1/10th on-road and off-road applications the MS-1 ESC features an all-aluminium case, stock and modified profiles including a zero timing ‘blinky’ mode, gold-plated solder posts and a compact design for easy installation. The controller is compatible with motors down to 2.5T. The MS series sensored brushless motors come with a ribbed CNC-machined aluminium heatsink case, sintered rotors, adjustable mechanical timing and heavy duty solder posts. Speedzone Peerless Series BL motor line
