Team Powers have announced the upcoming release of their Plutonium motor. This new design features a lightweight motor can and machined endbell and back plate for extra cooling, while the cans have also been left open for easy soldering. Full information on the different versions is expected soon.

X-Factory E-Speed heatsink & fan mount

X Factory and Ellis Stafford have announced the newest E-Speed part, a heatsink and fan mount to fit all X-Cars with 4-Gear transmissions. The heatsink is a blue aluminium part that perfectly matches all the other E-Speed and Dirtz Dialed Partz from X Factory and looks great with a D.D.P. motor plate. Heat from the motor goes into the motor plate and the finned heatsink greatly aids cooling of the entire unit. All X Factory parts play well together, and the new E-Speed heatsink fits perfectly with the existing D.D.P. transmission brace. The new part also mounts a 25 mm fan in position to blow directly onto the car’s motor. The two cooling aids, heatsink and fan, are especially important in stock motor racing where modern brushless stock motors are often geared to the moon. Ellis designed the heatsink himself, as with all E-Speed parts, and like everything from X Factory, the new part is complete with a dialed fan and all the necessary hardware.

Designed to operate with 1 to 2 cell LiPo batteries, the new high performance 1 cell motor suitable for 1/12, 1/10, Oval and WGT class application. The new motor sports a newly designed stator in order for 1 cell lipo low battery voltage and able to provide a smooth power from low to top end speed. With the new 1 cell motor design, the weight is reduced by 15grams to improve the performance of your 1/12 and 1/10 pan car in any conditions. Featuring adjustable timing, it comes in 3.5R, 4.5R, 5.5R, 7.5R, 10.5R, 13.5R, 17.5R & 21.5R versions.

Grid RC rear ball-bearing supported motor mount

Grid RC have released this rear ball bearing supported 1/8 electric motor mount for their cam style motor mount system. This new mount allows racers that have gearing setups that require over 18T pinions, to still have a ball bearing supported motor shaft and utilize the cam style mesh adjustment. Also, this new mount utilizes all the mounting screws in a 4-hole or 6-hole 1/8 motor. On a Neu/Castle you can now use all four M3 socket screws, while on a Tekin, you can use all six socket cap screws (four M3 and two M4).

Route 246 brushless motor checker

The EA-050 brushless motor checker from Route 246 is a precise instrument to measure the KV rating and RPM, as well as Voltage and Current, of brushless motors. It also checks existing hall effect sensors for correct function, with a 16 x 2 digit LC display indicating the different parameters. The motor checker is powered by a 7.2 to 7.4V power source and the package contains power cables for the motor checker as well as connecting cables for easy and swift monitoring of the motor’s performance.

X-Power continues to release new products for dNano racers. First up are the foam racing wheels available in four compounds, very soft, soft, medium and hard. The foam tires are pre-mounted and glued to lightweight racing wheels, eliminating the possibility of lost tires during important racing heats. Also new is two new motors, the XTreme for high speed & elevated torque. It has 40-50% more speed and 30% more torque than the previously released ‘hot’ motor and the Radical Black for super torque & elevated speed. It has 35-40% more speed and 40% more torque than the ‘hot’ motor. Additional items include 1:43 scale racing stickers, optional spoiler kit, easy adjust differential & conversion kit as well a much more.

Hype RC 1/10 motor cooling systems

New from Hype RC are these 1/10th motor cooling systems for electric motors with cans of 36mm or 44mm diameter. The orange anodised heat sink is supplied with a cooling fan that operates on 5V to 7.2V.
