JConcepts Silent Speed 17T competition brushed motor

The Silent Speed brushed motor by JConcepts is the perfect complement to monster truck racers looking to race sport-mod or scale/trail drivers looking for drive-able and rebuild-able power. One of the best aspects of brushed power is the ability to perform on a budget while performing at a high-level. The 17-turn Silent Speed motor, with dual ball-bearings, adjustable timing can be torn-down, cleaned and re-brushed at any moment for consistent performance. The item is packaged into a handy cylinder giving it a retro vibe of how things were done in the golden age of brushed motors and cushioned at the bottom with a hard density foam so the motor always rests in peace. Also included, an instructional sheet for regular maintenance of the equipment and how, when, and where to go for updates, options, and rebuilding items. The Silent Speed motor works well in single motor applications like Axial, Element and a variety of scale and monster truck vehicles using a 540 can based motor.

AB Racing Dual 1/8th cooling fans

AB Racing have introduced their dual cooling fans especially designed for the use with 1/8th scale vehicles. Designed, manufactured and assembled in Australia from local and imported products, the clever design utilises CNC-machined 6061 T6 aluminium mounts and a simple, but secure mounting system. The fans benefit from a brushless motor and dual ball bearing design, increasing longevity in harsh conditions and providing optimal cooling performance. The fans used are rated at 19.4 CFM – combined CFM of 38.8 for both fans – with a total of 18 watts of power for both fans combined. The fans can be powered directly with a 2S 7.4V or 3S 11.1V LiPo battery. The mount is designed to fit standard 1/8th scale motors with a 42-40mm motor diameter. The CNC machined aluminium mount helps draw heat from the motor and provide a strong mounting platform for the fans.

Coming from Hobbywing is their new QuicRun Fusion BL integrated speed controller 540-class motor for crawlers and trail trucks. The system combines a powerful 540-class brushless motor and with a multi-functional speed controller system in a single housing, ensuring a low weight and compact design. A selectable, intelligent torque and RPM control system maintains the torque and RPM level of the vehicle uphill, downhill, under load and in virtually every other condition, making vehicle control a lot simpler even in challenging terrains. The FOC Field-oriented Control system provided exceptional low-speed torque and control while ensuring super-silent motor action. In addition the system is IP-67 water and dust-proof for go-everywhere capabilities. Drag and parking brake functions as well as an electronic switch add to the impressive features list. The motor and speedo system is usable for most 1/10th scale crawlers and trail truck that accept 64mm long 36mm diameter motors and it is available in 1200kV and 1800kV variants.

Revtech XFactor oil slick titanium screw kit

Trinity have introduced the new Revtech oil slick titanium screw kit for the use with the XFactor brushless motors. While looking the part, the non-magnetic fasteners can also increase the overall RPM and performance of the motor due to not interfering the the magnetic field of the rotor, making them a great addition especially to stock motors. The set includes six screws and it will hit stores soon.

Reedy SC480X brushed crawler speed controller

Associated Electrics have introduced the new Reedy SC480X brushes crawler speed controller. Trail tested and proven, the speedo is a simple to use, economical, and powerful ESC for trail truck and crawler enthusiasts. Excellent forward/reverse/brake feel, a wide range of adjustability, and robust hardware make the SC480X suitable for both trail truck and crawler applications. The pre-programmed default ESC settings work very well in most situations, but if owners want access to additional settings for fine-tuning, they can do so using optional Program Card #27034.

LCG Racing battery voltage checker

Coming from LCG Racing is their new LiPo battery voltage checker. The handy device allows for quick and convenient voltage checking, ensuring pilots never mix up charged and used packs in the rush minutes before a run. The voltage checker comes pre-wired with stepped 4mm/5mm connectors making it compatible with most bullet-type connector LiPo batteries on the market. It is capable of measuring a wide voltage range of 2.4V to 26V and it is available with a red, green or blue display from now on.

R1 Wurks V16 Drag Racing Tuned 3.5T & 4.5T motors

Coming from R1 Wurks are their new V16 Drag Racing Tuned 4.5T 7500kv & 3.5T 9000kv motors. For the past few months, R1 Wurks been testing and gathering datalogs using their Digital 3 ESC, from some of the fastest RC drag racers around the U.S.. That amount of data allowed the company to understand the need for efficient power conversion, with the goal of generating the most power while controlling the amp draw to a minimum. With that goal in mind, R1 Wurkd created a line of custom built motors set for different budgets to make the most bang for the buck. Our base tune starts with the Drag Racing Tuned variant and upgrades go all the way up to the All Out Build. The full build comes with winding resistance measurements, rotor magnetic data sheet, sensor alignment, hand picked stator, full titanium screw kit pro installed and the gold standard in ceramic bearings, all pro installed. Team Raffee Co. 11.1V 4000mAh LiPo battery pack

Team Raffee Co. have added a new 11.1V 3S 4000mAh softcase LiPo battery to their lineup. The battery is made using high-quality Graphene technology 45C cells for high power output and it come pre-wired with XT60 or T-type connectors and an industry-standard balancer port. The pack measures 139x47x25mm, making it a direct fit for the battery compartments of most of today’s trail trucks and crawlers.
