Maclan Racing aluminium fans & carbon guards

Maclan Racing have released their new Hurricane series aluminium fan. Available in four versions, tow each for both motors and ESCs, they come in 30mm and 40mm for both ESC and motors. To compliment the new fans, they also released a newly designed carbon fibre fan guard kit. It has 2 options that will fit all 30mm and 40mm fans on the market.

Yeah Racing mini-size brushless motors

Coming from Yeah Racing is their new mini-size brushless motor for vehicles such as the 1/28th scale Kyosho Mini-Z. The sensorless motor features a high airflow can design for low operation temperatures while four different mounting patterns allow to rotate the motor to accommodate different wiring layouts. The D-shaped motor shaft ensures both composite and metal pinion gears can be used. The motor will become available in 3500kV and 5500kV ratings.

R1 Wurks V21 6-piece titanium screw kit

Coming from R1 Wurks is their new 6-piece full titanium screw kit for the V21 13.5T to 21.5T stock motors. The set includes three silver Grade 5 thread-rolled premium titanium can screws and three titanium timing screws that reduce overall weight while increasing overall RPM due to not interfering with the motor’s magnetic field. The set fits the R1 Wurks V21 13.5T, 17.5T and 21.5T motor, however it doesn’t fit the V21 25.5T motors. The titanium can screws are also available separately.

G-Style Grand Slam 4200mAh LiHV shorty battery

Coming from Japanese brand G-Style is their new Grand Slam 7.6V 4200mAh shorty LiHV battery pack. Building on the 2019 all-Japan Championship winning battery, the 2020 variant is constructed using new high-performance 150C LiHV cells that will make for an even lower internal resistance while keeping the discharge curve flatter throughout the race. The pack measures 93×46-5×18.3mm, it weighs in at 155g and it makes use of 4mm bullet-type connectors.

Team Powers portable soldering iron

Team Powers have announced the soon release of their new portable soldering iron. The 150W rated soldering iron is constructed from aluminium and carbon fibre and capable of temperatures of up to 420°C, however it can be heated to up to 520°C if needed – however at the expense of overall durability. It features a replaceable tip and is powered by a 2S to 4S LiPo battery or a 7.4V to 18V DC power source. The power unit is housed in a sturdy aluminium case with upper parts tray and space for a sponge to clean the soldering tip. Also part of the design is a jig to hold 2mm, 4mm and 5mm bullet-type connectors during soldering. The main unit measures a compact 80x80x35mm and the whole setup weighs in at 252g.

Coming from Trion are their new 5800mAh standard size and 4550mAh shorty LCG LiHV battery packs. Starting with the 5800mAh 7.6V standard size pack, the battery measures 138x47x19.5mm and it weighs in at 235g, making it ideal for modified and stock racing classes alike. The hardcase battery is equipped with 5mm through-type connectors, allowing to access the connector tubes from both sides and it is built using high-quality 120C cells for exceptional power supply even in power-hungry classes.

Konect K1 Elite 540-size brushless motor

Available now from Konect is their K1 Elite 540-size electric brushless motor. It utilises a new and unique stator design for improved torque and high RPM while a special stator coating ensures optimised heat dissipation and surface corrosion resistance. High-purity Copper windings ensure maximised conductivity which further adds to the overall performance. The CNC-machined Billet T6 can sports heavy machining for best possible airflow inside the motor and thus lower operation temperatures while accurately mounted sensors, ensure best possible performance. The package is rounded out by dual sensor ports and the motor is available in 4.5T to 10.5T modified and 10.5T to 21.5T stock variants.
