This is the third time we have written about this particular motor heatsink with cooling fan from Japanese brand Trion, so we’ll keep it brief. Following on from yesterdays release of their new Intellect receiver pack, Xray have released new 5-cell (6.0V) and 6-cell (7.2V) inline battery packs made from ultra-high performance Intellect IB1400mAh NiMH cells. Suitable for use in micro cars, including the M18, these 2/3A cells offer low resistance and they will maintain their high voltage under load. The 1400mAh capacity is one of the highest capacities currently on the market, helping to ensure long life for long races. The pack features high-grade wiring and a pre-wired standard micro connector.

Powers International have announced that they have started selling the new Sport tuned Pro motor from Speed Passion. This 15T brushless motor is suitable for stock touring car racing, Tamiya M chassis’ or even in drift cars and can be used with both sensored or sensorless ESC. This motor comes supplied with a sensor cable and can work with LRP BL speed controllers.

Carson have released a number of new products for assembling battery packs such as these soldering connectors, available in copper, gold and platinum. Sold in packs of 8, these soldering connectors are capable of carrying very high current and due to their design ensure that you have a 100% contact to your cell, which provides a very low contact resistance. Also new from Carson are 4mm gold contacts that are sold in packs of 2x sockets, 2x connectors and shrinking tube and have been designed for optimal conductivity, due to their low contact resistance and ability to stay free of oxidation.

More stuff from Carson who have announced the release of the HT Charger, a high-tech balance charger which features up-to-date built in software to aid the charging and discharging process. The HT-charger can charge all types of rechargeable batteries and due to its integrated balancer it can also safely charge LiPo batteries. Powered by 12V, the HT features a bright blue display which can be read in direct sunlight while an integrated cooling fan provides optimal heat dissipation.
